Heat just easily microwave, but for cold I find it too cold in the suggested time in the freezer - on cool/cold days I keep it on the windowsill (open window a few inches) and the chill is perfect. The foot ankle one is great not only for your foot/ankle, but also used on your hand/wrist like a glove. We kept the Large so it can be used by everyone. I can’t imagine this ever wearing out. Comfortable to wear…fabric is comfortable inside and out. No icy gel to deal with. If this is for just the knee…can wrap around the foot, ankle, hand and wrist.

So i measured and got a medium for my knee and it for sure is true to size. Its true to size to the measurement chart but also super stretchy so I wouldnt worry if youre like in-between sizes. Its very comfortable and I have tried both the heat and icy purposes of it over the course of a few days so I feel I have a good feel on it. But first things first I have the logo fliped on the bottom of my leg in the photo so dont be fooled there is a logo on it! I read the reviews on it saying the icy feel fades too fast but for me I found them cold for at least 30 minutes if you let them chill in the freezer for the full 4 hours it says to in the instructions which is kinda of the max of what you're usually supposed to ice an injury so it worked for me. It definitely helped the swelling from my running injury and I felt the snug, jelly, 360° fit definitely helped better than my shin split icy wrap with the straps esspecially since I was able to walk without it slipping down my leg and I was able to lay down without any velcro sticking to blankets. AAA+ for the ice for me! The heat was actually pretty tricky for me but also super nice? So the instructions say todo 30 second increments in the microwave but I usually end up resetting it 2 and a half times while flipping it to get the ideal heat but if I set it straight up for 1 minute its almost too hot so thats odd. Anyways like most things you microwave the inside gets WAY hotter than the outside so dont just go off touching the top when testing it Id recommend sticking ur hand inside before sliding it on. I will also say the heat fades in about 10 ish minutes and my guess is because my knee is bending which expands the gel which leads it to cooling off faster but I can generally get another few minutes by sliding the sleeve around to the side that was under my knee because its typically a little warmer for longer. But yeah I usually end up reheating this very often so be prepared. The upside is during the heat session my knee is literally so comfortable and it really pinpoints the whole injury which is way better than my hot watter bag I used to use. Id give the heat a C+ only because it cools off fast. Over all I totally recommend these for the diversity of use, the comfort, and the ability to wear this while cooking, walking and laying down without worry of slippage or velcro impeding any of those activities. Definitely a must have for any runner with a chance of knee injury!

Super happy w/ this purchase. It’s an excellent product as it can double as 1. Heat 2. Ice w/out losing any Elasticity. I’ve been using both heat & ice. Definitely Recommend…

As a teacher, it's safe to say I did more mousing than usual this school year. And I've got mouse elbow to prove it. All of my existing ice packs are the kind that wrap and I couldn't really wrap my opposite elbow on my own. This sleeve ensures that my entire elbow gets iced. It does cool off faster than my other ice packs, but it lasts 15 minutes and that's all I need. I immediately ordered a second one so I can alternate. Yes, it smells weird if I stick my nose up against it, but the smell doesn't fill the air. I'm 5'7" and weigh about 220--but with fairly thin arms--and I ordered the small. It fits fine. It's a tad heavy, so I wouldn't use it as a brace during activity.

This is a great, and much needed product for those who suffer from arthritis and knee pain. It is reasonably priced, solid, durable, fits nicely, snug but no pinching. It freezes nicely, goes on easily when frozen, is immediately cold, but does not stay cold much beyond 5 minutes, 10 at the most. After it thaws, it's must a nice, padded, knee sleeve. Wish someone could design this product that will remain cold longer. For now, this is all that is on the market, so will use it.

This product is so good that I ordered one for each of my family members. From tennis elbow to knee surgery, it is convenient way to apply heat/ice to the affected area.

J'ai acheté plusieurs manchons pour soulager le coude de mon mari qui fait du golf. Ils sont dans le congélateur et par l'effet glaçon soulagent sa tendinite à son retour du sport.. Tres pratiques car ils serrent bien le bras et ne bougent pas, ils se rechauffent cependant assez vite ( c'est pourquoi j'en ai plusieurs). Ils sont utilisés depuis plusieurs mois et sont résistants.

Veramente un buon prodotto. Non mantiene il freddo per molto tempo, giusto i 10 min che mi ha chiesto l ortopedico. È di contro molto comoda perché la metti in congelatore e dopo qualche ora è pronta all uso.

Very soft, super flexible, comfy and amazingly cold. I have never been able to ice my knee so easily and so well before. Well worth it ! I love it !

Was apprehensive of its efficiency but found it useful and what it is designed to do. Using for past few days. Not sure of its longetivity.

My son had elbow surgery and when he was getting back to his sport (Football) he would have some swelling. We just keep this in the freezer and he slides this on for 10 min and it’s ice cold and compressed, it works perfect. Takes down the swelling. It’s very comfortable
