I think they would have worked because they are strong and the right sizes. Sadly I ordered these not realizing that I actually had no use for them. I came to realize that only my Dr. can change or replace mine. I am hoping to use them for my crafts.

These are the only ones I could find that fits 1/4" ID and wasn't robbing my bank. They fit the tube snugly so they won't slide around. I like how the opened sides allow to visually see if its stopping fluid flow. Because others stated one isn't stopping all flow I put 2 on my hydration bladder hoses. The clamps are bulky and have kind of sharp points at the opening corners. I'm concerned they will damage something from my hiking motion. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Purchased this for clamping a hose while racking wine. No matter how hard we pushed the clip we couldn't get it to completely shut off the flow. We managed to get the job done with only a small amount of spillage but this didn't do as good a job as we wanted. Useable but not perfect.

I tried these on a soft 1/4" OD tube, and they just pop open when closing. The serrations to hold the end of the clamp are not big enough and they don't hold at all. Returning them.

Much too big. I must return it for a smaller size.

I have used similar clamps for many years in chemical laboratories. These clamps are as good as any of this type that I have ever used. I purchased them to clamp off a drain line (5/8" OD) on my portable AC. Works great.

Three broke first use.
