This kickstand was for my 6 year old grandson's bike and he loves it. He tells me it's so easy to use and sturdy. I would buy it again for the next kiddo when needed.

It does what it supposed to, kinda. I had to bend it to let the bike lean a bit or it makes the bike sant straight up and it falls easily

The previous reviews saying it's too long were correct. I got the 16" for a 16" kids bike. It puts the bike in a very upright position that will tip over to the other side with the slightest touch. I bent it to allow the bike to lean against the kickstand. See my photo for how I bent it. I laid the bike down and then removed the outer bolt on the rear wheel. I then inserted the silver bracket and then the kickstand, followed by the outer bolt again. Tighten the bolt most of the way until the kickstand wants to move. Let the kickstand close into the up position. Now you can hold firmly the kickstand while you tighten the bolt as much as you can.Once tightened down firmly, I proceeded to work on bending the kickstand bracket. With the bike still laying down, place your foot on the bottom of the rear wheel to keep the bike down. With the kickstand in the down/open position, grab the kickstand and pull upwards to bend it at the bracket a little. (See photo). Pick the bike up and see if it leans over enough for your liking. If the bike is still too upright, repeat the bending procedure. That's it. It's a cheapo kickstand that only needs to last a season or two until my kid outgrows this bike.

Installed this on a 14” Royalbaby kids pedal bike. Perfect fit and very stable. No problems holdup up the heavy 14” Royalbaby.
