HolbeinDuo Aqua Oil Compact Set of 10, 10ml Tubes

To preface, I'm a beginner artist and this is my first experience with oil painting.I really liked this set. I used them with a minuscule amount of water and a Walnut Oil/Alkyd medium, for glossiness and faster drying time. I honestly have no complaints except that the tubes really are small. I used half the tube of white on 1 project.I read that they are mixable with other types of paint, so I'm very much looking forward to trying these in new ways. If you're thinking of trying oil paint, this is a great set to start with.They do clean up with soap and water, but after a few days when you have paint dried in your brush and on your palette, you'll probably want to pick up a small bottle of cheap odorless paint thinner just to help preserve the life of your tools.This system has no strong odors, I feel comfortable painting indoors with my pets.

Very small amount of paint.....I put a quarter on the paint to show the size of the tubes....colors are bright and easy to mix and blend, has no odor of oil paint. I think I will stick to my acrylics instead.

I guess it’s a good “starter kit” but if you have a decent art store in your city you can get the individual tubes cheaper and with a wider selection. But yeah as a gift or just starting or if you only have craft stores in your area go for it
