Cuckoo Luckoo All Natural Black Licorice Scottie Dogs, 2 lb Bag in a BlackTie Box

I was a little afraid when I saw the stale and hard reviews but they were delivered today and the are soft and delicious!

I really like the Scotty dogs over the string type they last a lot longer they are tougher to chew witch makes them last and still have a good flavor

For gluten free this is amazingly great licorice. A little on the chewy side but 6 seconds in microwave changes that easily.

Disappointed. Received my latest order of Scottie Dogs. I order these several times a year as I really enjoy them. When they arrive I typically stuff them into a quart size ziplock bag as they stay fresher longer. Usually they barely fit this time however there was room to spare. The contents were a quarter pound underweight 1.72 pounds not the 2 pounds I ordered. Secondly these were not a fresh feeling as my previous orders were. I’d typically rate these a 5 star but due to the low weight and freshness issues I rating this shipment a one star. I do have to say that though not a fresh tasting they are still the best tasting licorice I’ve ever tasted. Cheers

I can’t get enough of this stuff. I a big fan of black licorice and now I can enjoy a gluten-free option. I usually buy the 2 lb box. I weighed the package on our kitchen scale and it weighed in at exactly 2 lbs. it’s worth the price.

These are the good scottie dogs, but like others have mentioned, they arrived stale and hard. Maybe they have been sitting on a shelf too long. They are still good, you can eat them as is or microwave them for 5 seconds.

I purchased these previously from another seller. They were hard. These are soft and fresh. They really don’t taste like strawberry or cherry. It almost tastes like bubble gum. As long as they are gluten free I’m happy! Being diagnosed with celiac disease sucks. Everything good contains wheat. I’m thankful I found licorice!

My wife is gluten free and diary free (by genetics not by choice). Recently on a trip, she was longing for some strawberry licorice so she got some at the gas station. Name brand. You've seen it. Maybe you've eaten it before. The next day, she was in terrible pain. Our bad. We didn't look at the ingredients. Never thought licorice would have wheat in it. But it does. So, as a Christmas gift (I know...I'm cheap) I got her this box of licorice. It came in a really nice gift box that looks really great and she says the licorice is wonderful with no adverse side-effects. Yippee!

These have a very intense licorice flavour, which is nice for a change. They are super chewy though, and really get stuck good in yer teeth. These were fresh when they arrived.

I ordered about 5 boxes for my Celiac daughter for Christmas. They arrived in good time. She was so excited to get to eat licorice again after her diagnosis. Big disappointment when she tried to eat them. Very stale, very hard, all boxes, will not order again.
