Love! Calms and supports the skin barrier without feeling heavy. The texture is lightweight but different from any other moisturizer I’ve tried. It’s almost gel-cream like, and it absorbs quickly with no greasy residue. It layers well over serums and works nicely both morning and night. I reach for this when my skin feels irritated, dry, or overworked from actives. It immediately takes down redness and leaves my skin feeling balanced and hydrated. There’s no strong fragrance, which I really appreciate, especially for sensitive skin. Great option if you want simple, effective moisture that focuses on skin health rather than bells and whistles. This is a fantastic product. It is a rare formula that is hard to find! It has this lightweight hydration that you feel when first applied that drinks into the skin quickly and then you feel the thicker, skin barrier elements. So it feel like you are getting a does of hydration that is then locked in. I have pretty tricky skin. It's sentive and extremely dry, but prone to clogged pores and acne. It took me a long time to understand how to treat it because trying to get enough moisture without breaking my skin out is really hard. It takes a lot of trial and error for me to find products that work for me. I already know this is going to be a holy grail for me. I love this brand, I have used their essence toner since 2018, literally every day. Their products are such high quality and amazing value for how fantastic they are. Super excited I found this specific moisture barrier cream.

It's a great, lighter moisturizer! Personally it wasn't enough hydration for my skin in the winter, but great for summer! It's very silky smooth and seems non-comedogenic, so really great for sensitive skin or those with acne prone skin! Feels very clean and non-irritating, one of the only brands that works with my skin!

I bought the Pyunkang Yul PKY Calming Moisture Barrier Vegan Korean Skincare Cream after I burned my skin using too high of a concentration of Retinol on my face and neck. This cream actually did calm my skin almost immediately and stopped the itching and burning and got me through until my skin healed. I still use it in rotation with my other face cream because it is just so light and creamy and does not leave my face feeling overly oily. I did not take any before and after pics because all they would really show is a freshly washed and moisturized face, not a transformation or anything. I bought the 1.69 FL. Oz, 50ml size and since it is so light-weight, I’m still only a quarter way into the bottle after 2 months. This is not really wrinkle-reducing or anything like that ... just a creamy, soothing, super light-weight cream that greatly reduces skin irritation quickly. I highly recommend Pyunkang Yul PKY Calming Moisture Barrier Cream for anyone with or without skin irritation.

I love this stuff! I have crazy irritated acne prone skin. Mostly cystic. This works to calm down the irritation and redness. It absorbs in well and doesn't leave you greasy. It's a great product that gives you a minor glow and is reasonably priced. It also worked well at calming my daughter's eczema on her face.

The barrier balm is great. Its incredibly moisturizing for being a gel texture even for my dry skin. It doesn’t leave you super shiny or greasy which is nice. I use it as my first moisturizer on tretinoin nights (sandwich method). I haven’t had much peeling or any irritation since starting tretinoin and I think its because of this moisturizer. I do wish it came in a bigger container though, but its fairly cheap so thats not a big issue.

Anyway, I thought I should make a 2nd attempt at my review on this product. Pros: ▪︎ It is suitable for sensitive skin. My skin is very sensitive. Using this product has not irritated or harm my skin in anyway. 👏🏾 ▪︎ It is hydrating and lightweight. ▪︎ No strong fragrance or unpleasant smell ▪︎ You don't need to apply much of it Cons: ▪︎ After using it for about 2 months, I am yet to notice any changes to the way my skin looks or feels. ▪︎ Compared to my go-to moisturiser (name withheld because they won't post my review), this product is not as rich in texture. All in all, I think it's a decent product for the price. I doubt it's what my melanin skin needs as it didn't do anything for my skin.

Great moisturiser that easily absorbs. Doesn’t contain a strong fragrance which may be beneficial for some, and can be easily applied without leaving a glossy sheen. A little goes a long way a finger full is enough for full facial coverage.
