Makita Dust Collection Hose, 3/4 x 10 Ft.

I wouldn't recommend this, despite claiming to be Makita, it's not, the title is misleading. The hose is very still/inflexible and connection to the orbital sander is not easy. Overall a regrettable purchase. Avoid.

Hose is really fit on the Makita hose and Makita machine....I'm using it on my Makita random and finish sander without any worry.....connect perfectly.....and I'm using it on my Makita jigsaw work perfectly.....my my works neat clean and dust free almost 80 to 90%....I'm very happy with the hose....thank you so much Amazon for the wonderful hose.... highly recommended

Great product - removes 90%+ of the dust. Some reviewers complain that it cannot be fitted to the sanders however just put the sander end of the hose in hot water for 5 minutes and then it is pliable enough to be fitted.

I bought this hose to use along with my Makita Model B04550 Finishing Sander. I also bought the Makita 410870-A Adaptor For Model BO4551 to connect the hose to my sander. The combination of adapter plus hose fits perfectly and works great. The other, larger end of the hose fits into 1 1/2" hose on my shop vac. The connection between this Makita hose and the adapter is a good snug fit for horizontal sanding, but not snug enough to stay connected in vertical applications like sanding walls. When sanding walls I have to wrap some duct take around the connection to keep the hose from dropping off while I'm using it. The combination of Makita Adapter and Makita hose with a shop vac on the other end dramatically reduces sanding dust. I sanded all four walls of a room we're renovating and was astounded by how little dust escaped. The thirty five bucks I spent on the adapter and hose were a great investment.

works great. Fits a makita BO5040 random orbital sander perfectly. Yes it might be a little snug, but I was able to twist it on by hand with some slight effort, it's not like I had to break out the heat gun or pliers. And honestly, do you really want a hose that slips on and off easily? Who wants that to happen in the middle of sanding your wall. And it definitely works, I forgot at the beginning of one session to turn my vacuum back on, until I noticed the cloud of dust in the air. Very glad I purchased this.
