Poorly manufactured
This product seems like a great idea when there is little counter space for a knife block and hanging the knives is not an option. However, the metal is poorly finished and the edges are not smooth. The joins between pieces are evident. Perhaps I could cover it with an oilcloth sleeve to make is look acceptable, but it is never going to look like the slick modern display/organizer I want for my kitchen. On the upside, the legs are easy to install with an allen wrench.

Magnet forces are spotty and weak
It's easy to install, looks great but that's it! Its purpose of holding knifes is another matter. Magnet is so weak and spotty that it won't hold a steak knives up properly. Instead of a lined, evenly spaced six steak knives. They're all crooked, not evenly spaced because the magnet forces are not enough. Further I can't slide our knives around properly because of magnet is spotty in places. Not recommended at all! Looks good as paper weight.😠

Good quality, looks great, and magnet holds knives perfectly. Love the stainless steel look.
I needed a magnetic block that could hold my exotic kitchen knives and I found this one, that just looked great where it matches the stainless in my kitchen. I was not dissapointed, it looks great, no flaws to the color of the stainless, it cleans easily, and holds my heavy exotic knives perfectly. Had to assemble the feet, which took me a whole two minutes. No cons, it actually looks and works great, where I am very happy with the purchase.

Great product
Sturdy magnets hold the heavy knives in place. It's wide but not too deep so you can arrange it in your kitchen where it's not too much in the way of other things. I have it in the center of my kitchen island. Keeps your knives from rubbing against each other and dulling out. Good suction power to keep it stable when grabbing a knife. Very pleased with the product. I just wish it had a hole in the top to place the steel because it does not want to stick to this because of the round design and weight of the steel.

Sturdy, even sturdy with knives one side
I had purchased long ago a magnetic strip for knives and it wouldn't stay on the wall and was a huge problem. I wont do the wooden blocks, they hold a ton of bacteria and are know to slowly dull the knives from putting them in and out of the holes. With this block, it's easy to clean and keep clean. My fancy knives are on constant display. My knives wont be dulled by storage. With this my knives are always right there for easy grab and use.

The best!
I looked at many knife blocks--wood and metal, expensive and economical, traditional and contemporary--this was by far my favorite, and I bought 2. I have the blocks on the end of a counter so I can easily use both sides; on one block there are 5 knives (one is a huge Serbian cleaver) on the front and 3 spatulas on the back; on the other, there are 8 knives on the front, and 6 steak knives and 2 spatulas on the back. Laying on the feet are a sharpening steel and a ceramic honing rod. In my opinion, there is not a better-looking or more functional knife block than this one.

Good value
Easy to put together and looks great. Overall a good value for the money. The manufacturing is not stellar in that one of the screws would not screw all the way in, but doesn’t effect performance and barely noticeable once installed. The drywall anchors included are insufficient so you should provide your own.

A real space saver
I bought this for my mother in law who recently downsized to a small apartment. Since space is limited, she needed somewhere to store her kitchen knives that didn't take up space in her utensil drawer. This is a great idea. It holds all of her knives as well as her steel spatulas. It's thinner than I expected so it doesn't take up much room.
