Very useful app

Cette balance est nulle, nulle et renulle. A part pour avoir son poids.Je m'explique. J'ai acheté cette balance pour avoir les pourcentages graisse/eau/masse musculaire. Or, depuis une semaine, je fais entre 30 minutes et 1h30 de sport intensif par jour, je mange uniquement des légumes, de la viande maigre et des œufs. Pas de sucres (même naturels), pas de gras. J'ai pris 700 grammes !!!!! Ce que la balance m'indique c'est que j'ai pris 700gr de graisses et rien en muscle ni en eau. C'est totalement impossible. J'attendais de cette balance qu'elle me donne précisément ce que je gagnais en muscle et en eau et ce que je perdais en graisse. Je suis certaine que j'ai gagné en muscle (je le sens physiquement) et je sais de manière absolument certaine que je fais de la rétention d'eau (mes doigts sont gonflés au point que je ne sais plus enlever mes bagues). Or, le seul paramètre qui ai changé en une semaine c'est la graisse qui a augmenté. Cette balance se base sur des ratios (poids/taille --> graisse) et non sur l'impédance du corps. Très très loin de ce que j'en attendais.

Hi good people over there and seller.The overall look of the scale is really nice of very good quality and the app is easy to use, however the scale is not accurate….I’m afraid. If I jump on the scale will give me different readings every time. By a kilo and more. Tried to set it on solid kitchen tiled even floor and same….readings are not stable. I jump off and on again. Different readings by a kilo sometimes. Not using it and planing to purchase other one.

Just five days after the return window closed, it began to malfunction. It was sat in the same place in the bathroom, out of the way, not touching anything where it could have been knocked or got water on it. We noticed the display began coming on by itself. Removing and replacing the batteries did nothing. The scale now useless, you can see in the video what happens. We tried following all the instructions to calibrate, reset, etc but nothing works. It’s just stuck doing this and we have no idea why. There isn’t a way to contact the seller so looks like we wasted £30 on something that was used a handful of times.

I love these scales and find them very accurate. Make sure you read the instructions or it won't accurately weigh you! If you store it vertically or don't use it in exactly the same place each time you need to calibrate it by stepping onto the scale with one foot then stepping off. Allow the word 'CAL' on the display to go off and the '000' to appear before weighing yourself again. If you link the scales to the Renpho app it stores your result each time (make sure Renpho app is open on your phone near you when you weigh yourself - but don't hold your phone in your hand as it increases the weight - voice of horrified experience) 😂 If you link it to Fitbit through the Renpho app, which is simple to do, the measurement automatically transfers to the weight section on your Fitbit app 👍

The scales seem to be reasonable, been using them for about a month or so. Easy to read but very annoying that you need your phone to get additional information ( anything other than weight ). I’m interested in fat/water % measures etc but will not install the mobile app.This is down to the privacy of my personal data. The app can access your GPS location, name, address, email address and almost any other information can be harvested from your health apps, bank details etc. all details in their Privacy policy if you agree. This is far too intrusive IMHO and you dont know who has access to your data which most likely could be sold on.
