Great cutlery drainer
I bought this cutlery drainer to use on the kitchen worktop so that I had more room on the draining board for dishes etc. (I don't have a dishwasher and live in a fairly small flat). The drainer is large and easily holds cutlery and utensils for 4-6 people. The small ring at the bottom of the drainer collects the waste water and can be removed if you wanted the drainer on your draining board (although it probably won't be very stable without this ring base). This is a good product, my only gripe is that the whole unit is slightly too large for it to sit at the back of my sink (I have a 1-2 inch space at the back) which means it either sits at an awkward angle on the draining board or I have to turn the draining board on it's side so it can fit on the draining board properly (not a problem but feels unnatural).Overall I'm glad I purchased this drainer as it looks stylish, is well made and is practical.

Faultless Design
I don’t often write reviews but this is an absolutely faultless piece of design and should be given an award! The compartments have been so cleverly thought through - the capacity is deceptively big, balance perfect, footprint minimal whilst the knife compartment is a piece of genius.Never thought it could be possible to rave so much about a cutlery drainer but this is just brilliant and worth every penny.

The Joseph Joseph Dock Cutlery Drainer is so Easy to clean and much safer than other designs
I have been considering a well designed Cutlery Drainer for a while, the plastic one I have needs regular cleaning and although the sides are easy to reach the base is award and difficult to clean properly, so I bought an in-expensive stainless steel one locally but while it works well for utensils, almost all cutlery falls through the spacing. The final straw so to speak was as another piece of cutlery was falling through the drainer, I tried to crab it not thinking that the drainer had knives on it, and you've guessed it, not just a cut but a very deep gash, I quickly reached for the kitchen paper roll and wrapped some round my finger that was Cushing blood at such a rate that I may have nicked a vein.I rinsed the finger and held it high to reduce the pressure long enough to put a plaster on it, this had to be changed about 3 or 4 times on the first day as the blood was soaking through.Slight issue, my family were coming to me for Christmas in 2 days and I could not put my hand in water and any movement caused a lot of pain, so not only was no dishes done but the house prep was on hold with time running out, until I remembered that my wife used rubber gloves. It’s now Christmas eve and I set of to the shops to see if I could locate rubber gloves, I did and bought 2 sets encase the first got damaged, the shops were packed and you were moving with the crowd and trying to keep social distance due to Covid, so the going was slow, eventually I arrived home at around 4pm with only a few hours to not only clean the house but had 2 days worth of dishes to wash, by 6pm it seemed like I was on track thanks to the rubber gloves, then I get a text message from my daughter, we are in the next street and will be arriving in 2 minutes.Well they were greeted with you “were not meant to arrive until 8pm”, then I explained what happened, after a bit of laughter and the fish suppers they arrived with which we ate before doing anything else, then they helped with the house cleaning so all was well, my conclusion is never leave things until the last minute as something will always go wrong then you don’t have enough time.Back to the Joseph Joseph Dock Cutlery Drainer, I am very impressed how easy it comes apart for cleaning and all the parts have easy access so no build up of unwanted bacteria, although it has the special slot for sharp knives I still prefer to have these lose at the back section, partly as I can see this area is not easy to clean, you could carefully use a knife to push some kitchen paper through the slots to clean the inner walls, but if I don’t use this then they won’t need cleaned, well that’s my theory.Another feature that I love about this design is the slopping front which makes picking up tea spoons so easy and may I add without risking your fingers on knives, yes the dividers work well to keep everything apart, upright and all drains well, a further point is it looks good and the grey tones will work in almost any colour scheme your kitchen might be.Do I recommend this cutlery drainer, well I bought one for my daughter who is house-proud and likes things done right, need I say any-more?.

Perfect cutlery drainer, worth every penny
Brilliant drainer for cutlery and utensils. I have the round, smaller sized drainer. It holds way more than you think, and Is sturdy and well-balanced, so doesn’t tip over with heavy contents. The knife slots are GENIUS. Drained water collects in the base and can just be poured into the sink (as the base has a poll up and pouring spout), which protects my solid wood worktop from standing water. The base is easily removable for draining/cleaning, and the whole thing goes through the dishwasher, which keeps it hygienic and free of water marks. Discreet design that just blends quietly into the background. Worth every penny.

The best cutlery drainer I ever bought
I absolutely love this cutlery drainer. It is so very well designed and well made.It looks good, its sturdy and stable, it holds a lot and it comes apart for cleaning. The cutlery sits above the drained water, which can be poured off easily, without upending the drainer. The three areas, plus two knife slots, hold everything from my fish slice to my coffee spoons, and keep them organised, making it easy to find what you want. The knife slots are great - they hold large and small knives with equal ease, and protect the blades from rubbing against everything else.I have no criticisms at all. I think its just perfect.
