Wondeful learning, teaching and productivity aid.
Initially I thought it was a risk buying this product. On delivery, the product packing was quite good, but the delivery was untidy. All the equipment's inside the packing were quite well packed and as such even a sloppy delivery may not impact the products.Review is after 1 month of usage.Pros:MADE IN INDIA.1) There is hardly anything that is breakable, other than deliberate breaking.2) The unit is very responsive. The data written on a sheet, I even tried writing using 220 sheets (70gsm) accurate image/text was captured on my laptop.3) The unit is easily configured if you have basic computer Knowledge, and most of the functions are self explanatory. There is a down-side, will cover in cons.4) My child can show (math) her work to the tutor online and get immediate feedback on method and issues. I use it to take down meeting notes, each MOM I can save separately, by moving it to the respective project folder (there are limitations discussed later).5) Using the pen as a mouse -- one can add notes to a pdf or on a shared white-board.6) For the first year, the written image in Hindi or English, can be converted to typed data. Have not used much of it. But will be good for teachers, even math equations are converted to digital text (some corrections are required in math). After the first year a subscription fee will have to be paid, without it, only the conversion feature will stop.7) Though i don't use but there is a excellent feature where you can replay the old notes, you can control the speed of the replay and pause it as well-- guess teachers should love this feature.8) The product has not glitched in one month of regular use.Cons:1) Some of the buttons on the unit are dummy and have no immediate function. Like the power button and the left, right page navigation button. The navigation, page change, when you finish writing on one physical page, you need to move to the next screen page, else your image on the computer will be overwritten. I would have preferred navigation button to move the computer screen, as when you are writing, most of the time, one is not looking at the screen(the advantage of this product) or some other image is overlapped over the iscribe screen (like meeting).2) The pen seems a bit bulky. I needs to be charged (though one charge should easily pass you a day, also led assists you on the charge status)3) There is practically no user manual, but trust me the back-end team of iScribe are very responsive. They are very patient in resolving all your issues, just mail them and they will followup, but manual is a manual.4) The pen uses a refill, the online cost is around 20 to 30 per refill. The refills are mini refills, however I have filled up about 25 pages, and it is still going on, the first refill. The unit is useless without this pen/refill.5) The files add up serially in the created folder (during configuration). If you change the file location to another folder the unit has no access to the new folder. As a result you cannot arrange the file as per subject/project. I convert the document to pdf (in built option) and move the pdf for file management to a folder. I am told the next software update will solve this issue. If the child's and tutor is responsive to use sensible tech, this is a wonderful tool to have. Arranging meeting notes and most importantly sending the notes immediately to participants, is good to have. The best is you can see what you are writing, compered to a digital pad, the writing screens are a tad expensive and fragile. For teachers this is a wonderful tool, sort of must have, now days.Despite the cons i have given 5 stars-- the product is worth it. I hope the next update solves some of the cons.

Simple & Hassle free Installation AND works like a charm !
Over the years, I have used/tried quite a few technologies that convert Pen Strokes (written on Paper) into Digital format. Some have the problem of a certain amount of lag; between the pen stroke and its appearance on screen. iScribe A4 USB renders pen stokes on screen instantaneously. More niche solutions involve specially printed paper. I tried iScribe with 60 GSM NORMAL Paper; its more than NICHE. And the writing experience is far better. The Writing Pad is really light weight and its finish feels good. Its sturdy too. Mine had fallen down a couple of times; but it works still.About the Pen. Normal Ball Point Refill. Surprisingly light weight than any Digital Pen available in the market. It needs charging, of course. The charge lasts long enough for all practical purposes. The slot on the Pad needs special mention. Paper when held by (the clip of) a normal Writing Pad moves hither thither while we are writing, necessitating frequent re-positioning under the clip; because many of us wish to have the Paper perfectly aligned on the Pad while we write on it. The slot on iScribe holds A4 Paper in perfect alignment with respect to the Edges of the Pad; in conjunction with the Clip.I recommend iScribe A4 USB to all those who are scouting for a good "Digital Writing Pad". Its hassle free usage, durability and smooth writing / rendering experience will definitely impress a connoisseur.

Good product. The support is also good. Software about file saving needs improvement
The media could not be loaded. I am a doctor and tried using it for prescription. There are some products that are more user friendly and take less time per patient.

Must have took for those of are in teaching profession.
Pros:Best device to write and see the same in the screen and can save them digitally in pdf. Even you can record in your voice, save, and playback later. With the extra payment subscription, you can also get the convertion of writing text/equations to word file format. In this way you can easily get the material to share it among the students, even faculty can use it for future reference.Cons:Screen always looks small even if you project it in screen. Designers please look into this and can have the option of making the screen size larger in width. There are some dummy buttons in the device of no use.Overall it is a worthy product and every one in teaching profession should have.

No compatible to downloaded A4 size textbook PDF
Good for A4 size paper but when you use download NCERT textbook as PDF and use it along withprintout on iscribe pad there is no compatibliity. Iscribe software and iscribe PAD dont match withPDF and printout though both is of same A4 size. Also Quality of PDF using annotation is not good.
