We are trying to move warm air from a woodstove in the basement , to the stairwell leading to our main floor. It definetly blows us warm air to the next floor level with a quiet fan. The basement level is still much too warm. I wish we could harness all the warm air and bring it upstairs when its needed. This fan helps tho. Our house was designed wrong with the woodstove in a corner away from the only door leading upstairs.

Easy to install and works perfectly, keeping our computer server cupboard cool at the correct temperature required

I found the product very well made, and it is working exactly as advertised. Just two negatives: first, the box is clearly marked "do not ship as it is" and "use additional shipping box". It came "as is". Second, the manual (and I though I saw this online as well) says you can control a second set of fans, the Airframe S7, from this one. The connector socket is there on the T7, but the S7 doesn't seem to exist. This is unfortunate - why pay for two controllers? On the plus side, it is very easy to set up and has a professional look. I tried several of the optional settings, and it only took a few minutes. My application is admittedly not what the product was designed for. The climate here leaves the house on the cool side all year, but we have a sun room which gets very hot for a few hours on most days. I'm using the Airframe T7 to mix some air between the two spaces. The doors are glass, so I had to mount the T7 sideways between two wall studs and add a wooden "frame" to fill the space between the back of the unit and the sheetrock on the other side. At the other end of the room I used a passive grille. More flow would be nice but even 200 CFM is enough to reduce our heating bill a bit, and the noise level is low. Now for the wish list: - I wish I had found the Airtitan line. The Airframe seemed closest to my needs of the items which came up on Amazon and even on AC Infinity's site, but the Airtitan is marketed as a crawlspace ventilator, so it tends not to come up as an "also viewed" or "similar items" product. - I wish the mounting holes were not quite so close to the edges of the frame. If you are mounting to a wooden or metal door they are fine, but any softer material is likely to fail. - What I really want is the controls of the Airframe, power and form factor of the Airtitan T7, and louvers of the Airlift. Ideally there would be minimal air leakage when the fans are off. - A minor item: it would be great if the display was rotatable. I had to mount the unit up-and-down, but the display looks odd that way. - I know they can't build every variation I can imagine, but I have to ask. Still five stars, because the product is excellent for the intended purpose.

I was looking for a solution to better circulate air through an equipment closet in my studio, in order to balance out humidity and temperature with the room and protect the several instruments I keep inside. I already own several AC Infinity products, including CLOUDPLATE and AIRPLATE series items, so the lack of reviews for this specific product (AIRFRAME T7) didn't sway my decision to purchase. Since this was going to be installed in a critical listening environment, noise was of course a crucial factor. That said, the fans that come installed from the factory in this item are not suitable in this regard. For A/V, network closet, and home theatre, the stock fans work extremely well and are indeed very quiet.. However, (even at the slowest possible speed) the stock fans emit way too much noise for pro studio, or any environment where absolute silence is crucial. I knew this going in, which is why i didn't ding them for a star. The fans are not very easy to replace either, but with a background in electronics (and having done the same on similar units from them), for me, it was a piece of cake. With the original two 120mm fans replaced with equivalent PWM fans from noctua, these units are absolutely silent and oh so absolutely perfect! In summary, this was by far the best possible product on the market - though modifications were required to suit my specific needs. AC Infinity brilliantly fills a niche here with an excellent product and outstanding customer service.

Incredibly loud. It's so loud it sounds like the fans are broken.
