I have thick, wavy/curly hair & getting my hair straight takes forever with my hair straightener, with this brush it took me maybe 5 minutes! This is a great product!

I am a product tester and received a discount in order to test this product and leave an honest review.My experience wasn't pleasant, but given the many good reviews, it seems I am mostly alone in my poor experience. I will state I have never used a brush like this, so perhaps I used it wrong.I purchased this to be a quick way to get ready for work. Detangle, brush, and straighten all in one? Oh yes! But he brush I received just did not work. The plastic bristles heated up well, and I believe would have worked great as a straighter, but I didn't get to test that because the brush actually painfully pulled a few strands of hair out of my scalp.I tried brushing my hair first and it happened less, but still not right for the purpose I needed it for. I admit my hair has a lot of split ends and such, and is thin so that may have added in to the trouble, I am not sure. I see so many great reviews so I believe I simply got a bad one, or perhaps just do not have the right hair type for thus sort of brush.
