Okay! So I finally got this thing to close with ease! Here is what you need:- 1.5" Metal Spacer x 4pcs (PVC pipe is okay I believe but I could be wrong)- 2" Diameter x 1/16th inch thick washers x 8 pcsFirst and foremost you want to get the 2 tracks as straight as possible. The cover will not snap into place if the tracks are too far away from each other or if they are too close to each other towards the end. Please note that the Gen 3 Tacoma's bed tapers inward from the cab towards the tail lights. So when you place the track straight, it looks like it is not straight, but it actually is! Please see first 3 pictures I attached for reference.Next, they give us 4 metal L shaped bracket that will be used to connect the tracks to the bed. However, the distance from the bracket to the connecting nut in the bed is so far that when you torque down the bolt you will start bending the bracket! This will make your tracks shift unevenly and even lift up while driving making it difficult to snap in. I found that a 1.5" spacer with two 2" washers hold the perfect distance between the two tracks and to hold your bracket in place! (I made the spacers but cutting a piece of aluminum tubing). If you reference the photo first I put the locking with washer (provided by seller) into the bolt (provided by seller) and put that through the bracket (provided by seller) and then a 2" washer, then the 1.5" spacer , then another 2" washer, and then into the nut that goes into your track on the Tacoma.To my fellow amazon buyers - If you find a different size spacer works better please let everyone know! This install was so easy and so frustrating! Let me know if y'all want me to make a video so I can show your what I am talking about!@CARMOCAR - PLEASE add 1.5" spacers x 4pcs. and washers x 8pcs in your hardware kit when you sell to us Tacoma owners! I would give you 5 stars but I had to modify your design.

It’s really nice, sturdy just as described looks good etc.The instructions are garbage as everyone statedYouTube really isn’t much help as there’s a variety of tonneau covers with different parts so it’s a hit or miss.The parts are cheaply crafted, but the cover itself is basically great!Tonneau cover 10/10Instructions manual to build -1/10

Is was a bit tricky to install. Directions not very detailed. Had to watch YouTube videos to figure it out. The back side still having some issues getting that to stay down. Will need more work.

It took a while to figure out how to adapt ot to my 2021 Tacoma due to the instructions where to no use, but after a while I was able to figure it out with the extra toos it comes with, they were abel to fit perfectly on the rails.

the cover came with no directions and pieces that were not on the pictures and description of the product so not sure how to put the product together working properly

This fit our 2019 Tacoma shortbed. Love it!!!

Installation was no problem but having a issue with it locking down properly and popping open.Update - Cover will not stay locked and pops open every time driving vehicle. Contacted Seller and waiting for reply (they are in China so good luck)Update #2 - Contacted seller and after several e-mails about the problem they have shipped a replacement cover. It installed and so far no problems with the not staying locked down. 5 stars for fast excellent customer service.

Good product but no instructions cane with it. The seller referred me to a video that was not working. Couldn't install the product.
