Fresher than store bought
Most Bay Leaves you purchase at the grocery store are brown in color. Too old.Spice Islands bay leaves are always green and fresh.

a so needed item
I have always used bay leaf 'louro' as I called it with my food. It is an awesome condiment for sauces, rice, soups and so on. During my growing years Bay leaf were not expensive and could easily be found in any grocery store.I bought this brand because of some reviews, the flavor is good the quality is also good no broken leaf, however is way too expensive. If I cant find another brand I will buy it again.
