Excellent! What a great gel black eyeshadow! The eyeshadow goes on smooth. No need to apply with liquid like water on the brush. It remains and lasts all day. If you'd like to keep it from migrating, I suggest a primer. If you want it to look more matte, I suggest a powder shadow over the lid. This is a great shadow for layering and creating a deep, dark pigment. It's easy to apply. Great value for the price!

I bought this eye shadow on a whim at my local drug store and am now obsessed with it!!! I typically wear a darker brown smoky eye shadow, but it always seems to fade throughout the day. This Chocolate Suede color is stunning and stays put ALL day without any signs of fading. The glass twist-top jar and shadow consistency are very similar to lip glosses/sticks that come in a similar container. The color is a rich chocolate and has just a hint of very subtle, fine gold shimmer (NOT glitter). I find it easiest to apply the shadow with my finger, and I also blend it upwards using the rest of my fingers to get the "smoky eye" look. It does not clump at all in my eye creases, and it's easy to wash off (both from my application fingers, as well as in the shower). You can also add regular powder eye shadow on top of it to create a contoured effect. My eyeliner goes on smoothly over this eye shadow without any issues. I would highly recommend this product and will be buying it for years to come. I've attached pictures to show the color and ability to create a smoky eye look for reference. ***UPDATE -- 12/31/16*** I've been using this eye shadow everyday for just over 2 months now & still absolutely LOVE it!! I've barely put a dent in jar, so I anticipate that 1 jar will last a very long time. I've received numerous compliments on the color, and it truly does stay on ALL day. Also, there are no signs of the product "drying out." Again, I would highly, highly recommend this product.
