I purchased four stainless steel doors for my outdoor kitchen in April, spending over $700 total. They stayed in my home unboxed until July, and while they initially looked fantastic, I'm now extremely disappointed. It's the beginning of September, and these doors are already showing signs of surface rust. I specifically designed the openings in my kitchen to fit these doors, expecting stainless steel to be durable and rust-resistant. They are installed under an overhang, so they are not exposed to direct sunlight or rain—only the moisture in the air. I've been cleaning them regularly with a stainless steel cleaner/protectant, but it hasn't prevented the rust from appearing. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm now considering paying to have them painted, which seems ridiculous considering they’re supposed to be stainless steel. Shouldn't stainless steel last for years without rusting? My stainless steel sinks don't have this problem. I expected much better quality for the price I paid.

It mentions "no gap/seamless welding" in the corners. That's not true at all. Every corner has a visible seam. Let's be honest here. These are cheap, borderline disposable versus substantially more expensive brands. That said, keep your expectations mid-level. I also will do what I've heard recommended before. Use a microfiber and wipe a layer of wd40 on all the stainless on the exterior. Should give it a nice film to help resist corrosion longer.

The description says the cut-out opening is 20.2" x 20.2" The actual cut-out measurements are 21 3/4" x 21 3/4"

Got a good price on Prime day. Good quality double door fits the existing opening in my brick BBQ base.
