A great gun bag for a decent price...
I’ve had this bag for a couple of months now so I feel it’s time to write a review. I originally found this bag after upgrading the stock of my Ruger 10/22 Takedown to a Boyds thumbhole. I then added a UTG scope and realized my rifle no longer fit in the original takedown bag. So I went hunting for a new bag and I ended up here. The top review (Errol B. Sperling) states that he bought this bag for the same purpose as myself. So, I gave it a shot and purchased the tan version after checking it out a little more on the NcStar website.I got the bag and was surprised at how well this thing is made and how thick and rugged it actually feels. There are plenty of clasps and Velcro pieces that allows for a great deal of cinching this thing and its contents tight when it’s time to move. The pockets are huge. I have three BX25 magazines in each of the side pockets and a cleaning kit and Tupperware full of .22 rounds in the middle pocket. All three pockets have Velcro under the flaps to hold them down as well as the external cinch buckles. The carrying handle is actually two on front and back that can be velcroed together. The shoulder harness is strong and the d-rings are as well. The zipper is a dual system that allows you to place the zipper opening where you please and when joined can have a lock placed in them to lock the bag… although I don’t think the zipper could hold up to the airport pen through the zipper trick. The inside is padded on all sides with adequate padding and is divided into two sections with a pad separating the two. The sections both have 45 degree pouches to hold the ends of your guns or parts and there are two Velcro bands on each side to hold the center of your guns into place. You can also place target packs in here with no problem. This is where I wish that they had sewn in a molle wall and included some Velcro loops for extreme customization options though. This bag would be 1000 times better if they had just done that. But, it’s still a really nice bag… especially for the price.Pros: Rough, tough, strong materials and clasps! There is plenty of room in the pockets and main compartment. Plenty of padding throughout the main compartment to keep your guns safe Decent priceCons: I wish it had molle walls and Velcro loops in each of the two interior sections for awesome strap down abilities and options I wish it had a means to turn this into a backpack (d-rings in proper locations and an extra strap?)Keep in mind, both of my cons are just wishes for extra features when this bag is already great and worth the price.

Nice bag - Savior version is better for the same money
I bought this bag after buying the Savior version (same 28in style bag).On its own, this is a great bag at a great price point. It has nearly all the same exterior features as the savior executed mostly the same way. Both bags were the same price, only the savior is not fulfilled by amazon and took a few days to get here. Now head to head (at the same price) - the savior is definitely the better bag. The padding is more sturdy, and there is a entire extra compartment. You could turn the savior into a 3 gun bag if you really wanted to. I cannot speak for the long term durability of the materials and construction of either bag, but they both look well stitched and feel sturdy. So is this a bad bag? Absolutely not. It would serve you well I believe... but I also believe - for the same money - the Savior one is simply better.

Much higher quality than expected from a "Made in China" case. Easily rivals much more expensive cases.
Extremely high quality. Exceeded all expectations. I work at a store that sells firearm accessories such as these and have some pretty high dollar cases that I actually feel are not as high quality as this case turned out to be. Things like actually having metal latches and loops for the shoulder strap was completely unexpected. Many of the straps also have built-in keepers which is a great feature. And the main pouch easily fits 6 Magpul 30-round AR PMAGs. The main compartment JUST fits my AR pistol length-wise, and is more than tall enough even with my optics on it. My only complaint about it is that I wish it had more space to attach morale patches. I am sewing on more loop sections on the bag to be able to apply more patches though, so it's no big deal, lol.

Dimensions
The quality and utility of the cases are outstanding, but they are a little bit small for most of my CQB firearms. The internal dimensions (inside the padding and gun retention pockets) is more like 26"x10".My AKM (AK-47) with folded stock is 26" long and is a tight fit, but it does fit straight across with 30rd magazine installed. My KelTec RDB at 27" barely fits across the diagonal. My RFB, at 29", absolutely will not fit.Again, this is using the gun retention pockets. If you do not use these you can deform the ends a bit and gain an inch, but not much more.If your gun fits, these cases are outstanding.

Good Takedown Case
I like this case. It is what I was looking for. I wanted a takedown case for transportation and easy storage for grab and go. I have loaded it pretty heavy with some ammo 250 rounds in middle pocket and loaded mags. 5 in one outter pocket. It has held up so far. My only gripe would be the straps on the middle pocket, the biggest pocket. They should be longer for easy tightening when it's full. They seem to be same length as the 2 smaller pockes. All I do is put less ammo in that pocket since I carry my ammo can as well. Again I really like the case. Extra room for targets, even rolled up big ones in with your barrel and receiver. One note.... If you want to put patches all over a case this is not for you. Only has a spot for 1 patch on middle pocket.

Hey, it works - and well
I like it.I like it enough to order another one a year after I got the first one.It won’t fit your rifle and says so on the title – AR and AK Pistol and Subgun Case. Think: compact stuff. It does fit my AK pistol with the folding stock open. It fits my AR pistol. It is set up to hold two compact firearms. It even fits both the folded AR and AK, but that makes it rather fat – even with the folding stocks going left – right. The folded stocks add too much width. It will close with the load, but that was pushing it. Looks rather bulgy. Can't have that.OK, spring for another one. The price is fair and it seems well made. No issues after a year of use with the original one. Having two allows me to set up each case for a given firearm. Four or more mags in each of the end pockets and the manuals, tools, accessories and such in the larger central pocket. Both cases fit in a handy WalMart folding duffel bag for trips. Now, if I could just lift the thing.
