I wear glasses daily because I have a strong astigmatism. I wear the glasses cooking, driving, and basically for everything. Those glasses however are not magnified strong enough for reading fine print, so I was told I needed to buy a second pair of glasses for that purpose. However, I did not want to pay $200+ for reading glasses that had an astigmatism correction plus magnification BECAUSE those reading glasses would need new lenses all the time as my astigmatism changes. It was just way too expensive to maintain. My far less expensive solution was to buy these two magnifying glasses - one for work and one for home. Now, I simply wear the glasses I already use every day and then add the magnifying glass to read fine print. Plus, the magnifying glasses will not have to be replaced no matter what happens with my eye's astigmatism. I am extremely happy. Thank you for such a wonderful product that is easy to hold, wide opening to look through, and I can see much better than I was.

I was okay—though not delighted—with these magnifying glasses when I first purchased them. I had done a search on “plastic magnifying glass” because I’d wanted something lightweight to carry with me on travels. These had a low price, so I ordered them. They turned out to be too large and too heavy to carry in my purse, so I just used them around the house, and they helped me read small print.But, they didn’t help much when the light was dim, so I searched again for a lighted one, and ordered the “Amazon’s Choice” RockDaMic [3X 45x w/ 3 LED Lights]. I found I liked the new one very much better; it had a little smaller lens, and even with three AAA batteries inserted was lighter then this first one. But best of all, even with the lights turned off, the magnification was clearer than this one.Bottom line, these are going to Good Will, and I am ordering another RockDaMic.

These magnifying glasses are excellent! They have a strong and sturdy plastic handle, a large viewing area, and crystal clear glass!! It was great to get TWO for such an amazing price! Even though these are glass, they have been holding up well to kids using them all the time. I highly recommend these!!

used these for a home made box projector. one is stationary and the other can be moved back and forth to focus the image.

One of the magnifying glasses had a very noticeable scratch on the center of both sides of the lens. Other than that, they're solidly built, feel good to hold, and magnify fine print very well.

They don't really magnify much..... Yes, you get two, which is great, but my kids and I, (and husband), couldn't really see much larger at an object?
