Rhythmic is a bit too obscure a reference
I bought this for my seven year old niece who has been doing artistic gymnastics for about two years now. She loved that the "Barbie is brown". But, she had no idea what to do with the clubs or the ribbon. In fact, neither did her mum. I ended up having to pull up a YouTube video so that she'd get the context and know what she could potentially do with the apparatus. I guess rhythmic is a bit too obscure a reference, even for a gymnast! I think that Barbie's makers could potentially put create a fun rhythmic video and include the url in or on the box. Not everyone knows the reference. But, after the YouTube video, my niece really loved her and was flipping her and the apparatus all over the place.

A really pretty Barbie. She may be on the more natuarl dimention size. Her waist looks a little larger than what I remember Barbie having. I am thrilled to find a black Barbie as I haven't been able to find any in my local stores. Grandchild will love her for Christmas as she likes to be in the gym herself. Shipping was fast. Doll came in standard Barbie box.
