Doing this ensures no candle tunneling that shortens was life and it also fully releases the essential oil fragrances. After the first burn, always trim all 3 wicks evenly to 1/4 inch before your next burn. PS pop the candle in the freezer before each burn for a few hours to slow down the burn rate.

Q: How do I get maximum fragrance out of my candle?

Essential oils are only fully released when the wax pool is fully liquid and 1/4 inch deep. This may take up to 4 hours as these are big candles. Only then can you appreciate the full release of the essential oils from the soy wax. Please ensure you do not trim the wicks before your first burn as you need a large flame to ensure that the wax burns faster and is fully liquid. Once the fragrance hits you, it’s a beautiful natural scent that will leave you feeling relaxed and stress-free.
