Keeps Food Waste Compact
These bags are similar to those recommended by our Waste Company but I couldn't get the ones they suggested because they apparently don't ship from Canada. So I found these and have been very happy with them. They hold quite a bit of waste and don't break down even if there's a lot of moisture in the waste. I freeze the bags until trash day and then throw them in our yard waste can. They work great and I highly recommend them if you don't want to just throw your compostable waste directly into a trash can!

Best Option
Just clip this bag to one side of your trash receptacle and fill as needed. The coated paper keeps the leaks at bay. When full, roll down top and drop into greens receptacle. Neat and functional & “green”!!

Major Shipping difficulty
I ordered and received the pkg of 6 bags. They’re terrific and just what I need. But I cannot get an explanation from Amazon as to why the order of 30 of the very same bag they advertise states in red type that they cannot be sent to my exact same shipping address that the pkg of 6 was shipped to??? This is crazy. Why is there no explanation that makes sense to this issue? A pkg of 30 bags is $.76 per bag. A pkg of 6 bags is $2.63 each. What is going on here?

When our waste management company launched their anaerobic digestion facility to handle food waste and green waste, they recommended this bag and provided samples. ("Compostable" plastic is not an option.) It fits well in the shelves of my freezer door so I use it for the food waste that would get moldy, smelly, or attract pests if stored at ambient temperature. On collection day, I put the frozen food waste in the green waste bin. The whole process is pretty easy.The drawback is price. I wish there were some competition in the marketplace to give us more choices and better prices. For now, I just pay the price and consider it my gift to the planet.
