I’ve been using the oil for a while now, and I’m quite happy with it. The scent is not strong but still has a natural smell, not something artificial. The texture is smooth and light, which allows it to spread easily and absorb well without making my skin greasy. For massages, it provides a nice warming feel that’s very relaxing and helps relieve muscle tension. I’ve also used it for aromatherapy, and it works well to clear the head when you’re feeling tired or a bit stuffy. On the skin, it feels gentle and adds moisture without irritation. The bottle is easy to pour without wasting oil. It seems fresh and holds up well over time. For the price, its quality is pretty good. It blends well with other essential oils too. Overall, it’s a good value for a pure, versatile oil that works for massages, skincare, or just making the room smell nice.

This oil appears to work well. The scent smells like ginger but has a cooked or pressed scent. Which is expected. I use ginger quite a lot, in food, in teas, in skin/hair care, so I have smelled various kinds of ginger products. I don't believe it to smell "burned" like I've read in other reviews, but rather a warmer scent. To best explain it...fresh ginger has gingerols making it pungent & spicy in flavor. When it is heated, gingerols transform into zingerone or shogaols. This can cause the scent to become warmer, spicier aroma depending on how it's heated. At 5.99, I find this to be a very good value for this concentrated ginger oil.

This is the first time I've used ginger oil. The product markets itself as therapeutic grade--e.g. don't eat it, its for rubbing on your skin or hair or used as part of aromatherapy. When I picked this up, my thoughts would be, primarily, it should smell like ginger, and have a really spicy aroma to it like fresh ginger does. This product couldn't be any further from that expectation. The product is made in Pakistan, and comes in a small sealed glass bottle. Its texture is what you'd expect of an oil, and to its credit it absorbs rapidly into the skin and doesn't leave any oily residue. That's about all the positives that I can say about this product, because the aroma isn't very good. When I first opened it and took a whiff, it smelled like it was burnt oil. I reluctantly rubbed some onto my skin to see if the smell would go away. While its not as strongly burnt smelling on the skin, its burnt enough that it's masking any smell of ginger. If anything, the strongest lingering odor is that of stale oil. While the price is reasonable, I can't recommend this product, its not what most people would expect I think.
