Keeps arm free
My daughter is petitie(30lbs at 4yrs old) and the water wing style swim floats are too big on her and make it impossible for her to swim. This float is great because she feels secure but her arms are free to learn the proper freestyle swim stroke and back stroke. We can also reduce the float slowly as she's learning to swim.As always she is never alone or unsupervised when it comes to the water. This is definitely not approved by the coast guard. Just a great alternative to water wings.

Better than a puddle jumper
We had been using a puddle jumper for my daughter but she wasn't making progress and how could she...she couldn't properly use her arms. After adjusting to this she had immediate progress. At first it's hard to get on and off but once you get used to it, it's not bad. Highly recommend this over a puddle jumper. Wish I had known about it sooner.

Great beginners floaty
I bought this for my great granddaughter and she loves it. It’s worked well with teaching her to swim. I highly recommend this.

Works great for those LO’s learning to swim!
We have used this brand for years. The design has changed since we last need to purchase it & at first we were skeptical that it would still work as well. Happy to say it works fantastically! Our LO took about 5 minutes to acclimate to it & it’s been awesome. She’ll be swimming on her own in no time!

Favorite learn to swim device
It helps slightly hold them up while they use their arms to swim! Great product for beginner swimmers

Great for teaching young swimmers
We loved this to teach our three year olds to swim!! You can slowly take out pads until they build up their strength and confidence! Both of my girls swim great and never took swim lessons!

Our toddler doesn’t complain about wearing it
We live on a lake and have a pool. It is a necessity that our granddaughter, who is almost 3, wear a life vest pretty much the entire time she is outside. We have bought life jackets and puddle jumpers, but they raise up under her chin or prevent her from putting her arms down. The Power Swimmer is by far the most comfortable and gives her the most freedom, while still acting as a life jacket. She is learning how to swim on her own and it has been a really good aid in helping with that. I don’t think this would be very suitable for a child much younger than 3, but it has been perfect for our needs.

Great fit for an almost-independent swimmer!
I was concerned that this would be too big, but could only find the ‘medium’ size in stock so went ahead and bought it. My daughter is 21 months, 24 lbs, and 33 inches tall, and with the sides pulled pretty snug, it fits her very well and I can tell has lots of room to grow! She has been in infant group swim lessons for 8 months and when wearing this she can kick and keep herself afloat with ease, and loves that she can be independent in the water!
