Apex Detach N Go AM/PM Pill Box

I use this for my dog's pills - yes, my dog. It does the job, but I will say that it doesn't stay together. The detachable day pods keep sliding off. It's a bit annoying.

I have used a similar pill box for a decade. Love the fact that I can take a day or two with me. The loss of stars comes from the fact that it separates far too easily. My last of this pill box could be picked up as a whole unit and then easily separated. This one cannot be picked up without falling apart. If I’m. It in top of it the sections drop and open dumping meds and supplements out into a surface. Best case here is a counter top. Worst case was the floor and wasting meds.

The containers are too small if you take large pills like fish oil. Will hold only 2 if them.

This is a handy thing to have, since my son takes medicine in the morning and at night. Up to this point I was simply keeping things in a baggie, but I wanted something that he could easily handle himself with my supervision since he loves doing things himself. The color difference between night and day is a good touch, they're not too tough for little hands to open. Separating one or a few from the "herd" when you want to take just a few days is a bit tough at first, they don't want to separate, but I'd rather deal with the extra effort to get them separated than deal with them sliding apart all the time when they're not supposed to.The only real disappointment I have with it is that the "doors" aren't actually hinged, they're just thinned bent plastic. I've had too many bad experiences with parts that are supposed to bend using this type of hinge, because it's pretty much nothing more than built in obsolescence. They're as guaranteed to fail as anything you can buy. But for this, since we'll only have to open each twice a week, it should last longer than we'll be using it.And despite being called "Small, not Jumbo", they're a good size.

This is a really great product. It's big enough to hold all my pills (one side easily holds 4 large pills), and I love that I can easily separate the days and take just the one I need. I do have one big complaint though. The week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday and you cannot connect the Saturday and Sunday sections. They should make the Saturday and Sunday sections connect so you can take Saturday and Sunday together when you go away for the weekend. Also, that way you could always add the current day's section to the end of line, instead of having two separate sections that don't connect. (For example, if you take Wednesday, you have one section that is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and one section that is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and you can't connect them up. Sunday should connect to Saturday so at the end of the day Wednesday, you attach it to Tuesday and Thursday is the first in line.)

When they are all connected together you have to be very careful that they don't all come apart from one another. I wish they clicked or clipped into place. It's great if you are taking only a few with you but when they are all connected it's a nuisance.

The only thing that I don’t like is: the individual compartment’s come apart from one another when your not trying to separate them. Have to be careful when moving them from one place to another.

I have 2 pills I take 2x a day, along with a third that I take once a day. So I go this so I don't have to worry about what I need to take when. I fill it up once a week and then at breakfast and dinner I grab my pill box and take what is in the corresponding box. I like the fact that each day is detach able. If you are going to be gone all day or for a couple of days, you don't have to take the entire pill box with you, just the days that you will be gone, and you don't have to take a bunch of pill bottles with you. They are not overly large, but they do have plenty of room for lots of smaller pills, while being able to hold large pills as well.
