Nice looking with a very smooth action to them. They come with a tightening key should you need it, that's the little star-shaped silver metal thing. A cleaning cloth is also included, but I'm not so sure it provides any benefit.The curved scissors have a very noticeable gap between the blades, this is due to the geometry of the blades. They touch all the way up at some point as the blades are closed. This is pretty standard for this design of scissors. Not used them in anger yet, but I'll update the review when the time comes. The case is adequate, but I wasn't expecting much tbh, I just needed the scissors.I bought the blunt 4pc set and an additional pair of downward curved scissors, which compared to the set were horrendously expensive.As promised, an update. They cut very well, for home use they've done sterling service. The handles are OK even with big paws like mine and give excellent control. I haven't needed to tighten them or try to remove the blade gap, but a squirt of wd40 now n again works wonders. They will last longer on a clean dog.

I bought this so I can trim my long haired pup (a Havanese). I have only used the curved scissors so far but they did a good job and we're easy to handle. Having them curved made it much easier to cut the hair on his face and its easier and quicker to not be worried as the tip of the blade are rounded. The metal comb is really sturdy and can comb out mats. I used this before I even touched the scissors. I imagine a comb would just snap if I had got a cheap flimsy one?.so am happy this was included in the set. Time will tell if they last but I'm pleased I choose these ones. Being able to trim my dog at home makes life easier. I found so many scissors sets on Amazon and so many reviews it took ages to choose, so I thought I'd defo write a review to help others. I haven't given 5 stars as not used all of them yet.

I had purchased some previously as part of a set but they were really rubbish which prompted me to buy these. They feel great quality, are sharp and also quiet when cutting which puts the dog at ease. Highly recommend.

I have just brought home my four year old rescue Golden Retriever cross. I needed the right scissors to trim her fur and found this Dream Reach Professional grooming kit containing the 3 scissor types that I needed. I have tried them and they seem to be excellent quality and nicely presented. Perfect for me as a beginner at dog grooming.

I really like the chunkers. I am a professional dog groomer and got these for a back up set. Not really a fan of the rest, but I’d happily pay £40 again just for the chunkers

Look nice and were sharp but screw came off 2 and broke and then a couple of them catch on the other blade so do not even cut. Gutted and disappointed

My cat has quite a few mats on her and I get really anxious cutting them off because I don’t wanna cut her. I don’t wanna hurt her but I also just want something to cut through the Matt and when I tell you this cuts directly through the Matt and has just kind of tiny little guy on it to make sure you’re OK. Oh my God I love it. This is amazing.Now these also have cut me twice because they cut immediately and they cut quickly so please be careful do not cut your cat or yourself I would say wear gloves and be very gentle and very patient because the way these cut they kind of break up the mat as well so you can kind of cut a little bit high and then just kind of pull off The excess fur rather than having to cut so close or get such a close cut cut .Do not use these like detailing wise I would say as an amateur user. as a groomer you do you boo. you know what you doing but as somebody who’s just kind of using them to help clean up your cat through cut here and there I would say use this for more of the large passes rather than the small ones just because of how clean and efficiently they cut You could cut yourself very quickly but they do the job well and I would say even better than the furminator I feel like with the furminator I’m ripping my CAT skin out but with this it cuts them out and then I just carefully peel off the exccess fur .

I use to groom our Havanese dog, and this set has been very good. Easy to use, as they are sharp and align very well. I especially love the thinning scissors and the curved scissors. The comb is a good one as well. Recommend this set!

It's getting stuck within 4days

Ich habe die Scheren bestellt, weil ich zwei Langhaarhunde habe und ich deren Fell schon seit Jahren selbst ausdünne/frisiere. Es mussten mal wieder neue Scheren her.Der erste Eindruck des Sets ist überraschend positiv. Ich habe eben meinem Rüden die dichten Fahnen damit ausgedünnt und musste achten, nicht zuviel abzuschneiden, da die Scheren tatsächlich sehr scharf und leichtgängig sind. Die Effilierschere nimmt richtig eine gute Menge Fell weg - bei der Chunkerschere muss man noch behutsamer schneiden, da man mit ihr sonst zu viel Haar entfernt.Diese Scheren sind nicht schlechter als die Scheren, die ich im Fachhandel für Groomer gekauft habe! Ob sie langfristig so gut schneiden, wird sich zeigen.Der Kamm ist nicht sonderlich hochwertig, was für mich aber keine Rolle spielt.
