The chair is really comfortable, highly recommend.

This office chair is by far one of the most comfortable ones I've used. Plus the support it offers for the lower back is top notch. The only issue was the five year warranty that dated back to 2016. How does a chair I received a month ago only have two years left on its warranty? Plus when I reached out I never heard anything back.

The chair was fairly easy to assemble, took me 15 minutes. The chair at first is stiff but does seem to loosen up over a few days/weeks. One of the items I did not like, is the chair generally feels cheap. Lots of items on it are loose and nothing you can do to fix. The arm rests are adjustable but they move so easily it annoying. I am 250 lbs and after a few weeks my behind would get numb from sitting on it after 2 hours. I could not adjust the tension on the recline to keep it from going all the way back, even at maximum where I could not spin the dial anymore. Not sure if the tension is a general problem or if it was just on my chair. I really enjoyed the back rest and absolutely loved the head rest. You do get a lot of features for the money, just hated how cheap it felt for the price. I think if you are less than 200 lbs you'll probably love this chair. I did not have a problem fitting in the chair, if was quite spacious. Wheels are great. I really wanted to love the chair, but ultimately decided to return it. The chair has great potential, but just fell short of expected comfort level. For me the price and quality did not match.

I looked at a lot of chairs when shopping to replace a mesh chair that had developed problems. I wasn't inclined to spend fifteen hundred dollars or more on some of the big name office chairs, but I was also willing to spend more than three hundred in hopes I would find a chair that was comfortable and would last. I spend a lot of time in front of a computer doing work and I like having a mesh chair for the warmer months. Having an all mesh chair makes a significant difference in helping to keep you cool. I narrowed my selection to about three chairs and after seeing a video about the changes in the Gen 2 version of this chair, I decided to order it. I had a lower end Hbada chair previously that was all mesh and had most of the adjustment features that this Ergohuman chair has, I would say it is a step up from the previously chair, but was also more than twice the price. There were some complaints about the assembly on this chair being difficult, I did not find it to be difficult at all. Pop in the wheels on the base, put the center post in place and then put the seat on the center post, attach the arms (2 screws each) and attach the back (4 screws), then slide in the headrest - that is it. They include an Allen wrench to tighten the screws. It came in a box in pieces, but pulling it out of the box and dong the assembly only took about 15 minutes. The instructions are okay for both assembly and operation. Surprisingly, the chair was made in Taiwan, not China. Once you finish assembly, it takes some time to try different adjustments to fit the chair to you. I seems well constructed with the skeleton being metal. I am 6 ft. 4 in. and 265 lbs and it seems solid, the weight limit is supposed to be 330 lbs. I like the single lever that does all of the adjustments except for tension (recline and lumbar.) The mesh material is not great on bare skin, so if you plan to have exposed skin on the seat, you might want to consider a breathable cover. Overall, my first impression is that is is probably a bit overpriced, but it is pretty hard to find a decent chair that isn't.

Worked well for first 3 years then 1 of the arms broke off and can’t be reattached. There are 2 holes/screws for each arm and the screws literally broke off in the holes and cannot be removed. Product is still under warranty so I contacted the company via email without response. There is no option to contact them via Amazon. Very disappointing for a $750 chair. Cannot recommend at this time. Hopefully company will see this review and contact me. I will update my review if able to come to a resolution. Update: contacted company multiple ways in July 2025 and no response as of 8/31/25.
