Is anybody aware of a stand that could be used for tabletop display for this item?

This can't stand on its own, so it would have to be something that allowed it to hang from the top. But I don't know of anything.

Can this sit on a table or does it have to hang?

It's designed to hang. If you sit it on a table, the balloon sits right on top of the basket and you don't see the strings connecting them. I like it, but it's smaller than I expected--it's about the size of a cantaloupe (the balloon).

Do these come well packed? Wanted to take them in my suitcase as a gift.

Yes..they come in huge boxes with solid foam surround. So suitcase ? ? They do make small ones and large ones.

Does this only come in 5" (small) or 11" (large)? Is there a (medium) size in between?
