I'm blessed to live on a lake with abundant wildlife but need to discourage ducks and geese from eating seed (and my lawn!) under 4 birdfeeders and also invading a vegetable garden. I strategically placed these around the feeders and garden. They work great for that purpose and don't seem to bother ground-feeding birds (mourning doves, finches, etc.). Easy to assemble and install, don't seem to be affected by hot weather and sun. Functional and also decorative ... highly recommend!

I bought these to scare off some wild turkeys in my front yard - not really working for that purpose, but they may help with scaring off other smaller critters if you do not want them to dig around in newly planted stuff. Easy to put together - pinwheels already made and no too-small plastic parts. Spin well. Good value. Would buy again if needed.

It would have received 5 stars but one of the pin wheel sticks came missing the connection piece. Otherwise great looking pinwheels.

We use these to keep critters from nesting behind our bushes. They work well! This is the 2nd time we ordered them. they are easy to put together and sturdy.

Good quality and easy assembly. Attach post to pinwheels and that’s it! Feels sturdy to push in the ground and made of metal.

These do not deter Canadian geese at all. I put 10 of these in front of our creek & the next thing I know, 4 families of geese & their young were in our yard. They come in through the creek since they are ground bound with their young right now & they literally walked right by these things like they were nothing. Update: Amazing customer service. The seller reached out because of my review so I’m updating this to reflect that. In a world where customer service is almost nonexistent, this seller does care about their products & service. I should also say the spinning wheels are very well made so if you’re looking at these for other reasons (obviously, Canadian geese don’t care about them), you should buy them.

Thought these pinwheels would help deter hawks from attacking pet ducks. Only had them 1 week and a rubber stopper fell off during moderate wind (18 miles per hour) and can't be found. Was originally pleased as they were spinning, were very reflective and performing as promised. Easily movable as with hawks the placement of items needs to change or they become accustomed to the movement. I now see other reviews with similar issues with the stopper. Perhaps they should be glued to stay on. I anticipate this is going to happen with the other 5 pinwheels and I imagine it's impossible to find a rubber stopper to fit? Update: The seller of the pinwheels reached out immediately after posting this review. I thought about glueing the tips on to stay, however, that was not advisedl. Seller provided several options to to resolve including refund or replacement. I'm happy with the overall product and thrilled with this vendor's quick action. Revised my "stars" to reflect that I'm happy with the product and seller!

6 out of the 12 pinwheels were slow to spin. The yellow axels (in photo) had defective tabs sticking out from the molding process that had to be cut and a few were misshaped. I bent them back, adding about an hour of work. It appears the misshapened yellow buttons are put in so they are not easily visible on the front inside, you have to search for it. To me this says they knew it in the manufacturing process and hid the defects. Most of the double axels were sloppily assembled and I recentered them. If you’re a tinkerer, you can make them work but for $30 I expect the product to be ready. The end spikes seem to come off easily. I’ll have to add to the height somehow. Poor manufacturing, not a $30 valve.
