Used item with missing parts.
Despite the product was advertised as brand-new, the item received was clearly used, starting by the box which was manually re-sealed and the product itself, which had scratches and worn-off marks. The worst part is that the easy-release plate where the camera is attached was missing therefore the tripod is 100% useless.

Tension wheel for the head gave out, BAD customer service (UPDATE)
Well designed tripod for vlogging, but only lasted 6 months before the tension wheel for the head gave out, and now I can't aim up or down. But the main reason I'm giving one star is for poor service and warranty claims. *Updates below...it only gets worse*I looked everywhere on their website (Vitec Group is the parent company) for where to make a warranty claim, but couldn't find it. So I went through the product registration, figuring that once I had an account and registered the product, there would be somewhere to make a claim. Not so.The only way I could seem to contact them was with a contact request form on their site. Eventually, I got an automated email back saying that my message has been forwarded to the appropriate department and that they'll be in touch. No one has contacted me since that automated response. Also, to register your product, you have to choose from their list of retailers. For Canada, they only had two, and Amazon wasn't even one of them. I had to choose USA as my country so I could pick Amazon.com (not even .ca).If I get a response and they make an effort, I will update my rating, but at this point I'm very dissatisfied the durability of the product and Manfrotto's commitment to customers.UPDATE #1: I got a hold of their contractor for Canadian repairs. The man was very pleasant. I sent my tripod in for repairs in November, 2020. Two months later, I received an email that my tripod had been placed in queue and that I'd get an update within a week. Almost four weeks later, into February 2021, still nothing. My one-star rating stands.UPDATE #2: After hassling them for an answer I was finally told by a very cranky rep that the tripod has been discontinued (though it's still widely available, and even from them) and that they'd offer me a demo model (i.e. used) of a different tripod. I reluctantly accepted since this was all they would offer to do and I wanted to put it behind me. They also made me pay to ship it to me, even though I was assured that when I pay to ship the original tripod to them, they would pay to ship one back.UPDATE #3: I've since ordered another one from Manfrotto/Gentec directly when I saw one on clearance and four weeks later haven't even got a confirmation email, yet they billed my card right away. This is a really bad company.

Excellent!
Just the job! Its a 'starter' Manfrotto I think I'd say. I can use it perfectly well with my Canon EOS with small lenses, but its a bit unsteady using a tele lens. I just drop down the bottom legs, and its very steady...just a little lower! You get the build quality of one of the best makers, with the lower price to suit the budget: I'd recommend this tripod to anyone who is after a good yet affordable tool, "Does what it says on the tin" plus more!

Excellent tripod for the price.
One of the better tripods at this price point, it's not super stable at full extention, but 75% of the way it's perfect. Feels premium, and the head is extremely easy to use

Light and sturdy - for the right camera
I bought this tripod because I wanted to use it with my very small and light Fuji X100V. My camera weighs less than a pound, and this tripod is the perfect tripod for it. If you want to travel small and light and still be able to have an almost full size tripod at your disposal, this Manfrotto is it. The ballhead is tiny but works really well, and the legs are thick and robust. I love the clips (they are much easier to use), and the center column can be extended easily. I am fully aware of this tripod's limitations. For example, don't overtighten the screws. I put some rubber spaces in there so there is less of a chance for it. Also, don't overestimate its weight capabilities. Don't expect this tripod to be good for extreme conditions, like sand and ocean water and such. It can't be taken apart and cleaned. But for a travel tripod that can fit inside your bag, this works well. I wanted Peak Design, but this is a good substitute: it's about the same circumference, the same length closed, weighs half and costs about 1/5 of the price of the cheapest alternative from Peak Design. If you have a small camera or phone, this is it.

Well , you may be scary but it's not as bad as it feels .
At this price , let's be honest , you won't have a top quality tripod with carbon fiber everywhere but this aluminium tripod is fair for the price . Won't call it an action tripod but it's what I needed.I was looking for something pretty light but not too easy to break . This tripod is awesome for it's simplicity of usage. The head seems very cheap but it's not so bad at all when you give it a try. The plastic alliage is very light but seems tough enough when you put pressure on it. The only downs to this tripod is that it's not an ideal choice for those who want to move a lot while filming cause the average between completely blocked and semi-blocked head is tough to achieve without the head being sometimes unstable. Not impossible to do moving panoramic videos but it's not the best at all for that. You may have to adjust the legs a bit each time you change position cause the stand is really really portable and the last segments not large. It's not a tough tripod but it won't break quick if you use it gently. Remember the portability and lightweight is the main goal of this thing . I can bring 2 cameras with me now... with the same weight in my pack sac than I had with old tripod. It's not greased head , it's pretty made for photographs that likes to travel with lightweight things and wont necessarely take a lot of time trying to follow eagles in the sky. You can do it but it won't be perfect. It's better for stable capture like photos , panorama photos or stable videos . It takes almost no place in your bags.If you just dont need ultra-fluid movement and ultra-portability for a fair price, it's good .
