I run 6 monitors at home. 1 with HDMI, the laptop screen itself, 4 with a USB hub, and then this one from my Dell work laptop's USB C. No issues. You just plug it in, plug your HDMI into it, and go. Picture quality is great. No excessive laginess. It gets used every day and it's been reliable so far (at least 6 months since I bought it, if not a year or more).

My minipc's HDMI output burned out, but it also has USB-C DisplayPort capability on its two USB-C ports. Apparently there are two options -- either use a USB-C-to-HDMI cable, or use a USB-C-to-HDMI adapter. The cable is not a guaranteed solution since it requires the PC to be smart enough to send HDMI signals via the USB-C port. The adapter converts the USB-C DisplayPort signal to HDMI and so should work in all cases. However, my computer's HDMI output also had driver issues -- some versions of the OS would work, while others gave a pure green screen on my HDMI monitor. This adapter doesn't solve the driver compatibility problem -- so it does not seem to be converting USB-C DisplayPort (which works on my USB-C monitor) into a HDMI signal, but rather acting as a cable. I would have preferred it to have solved the driver issue by taking a native USB-C-DP signal and converting it to an HDMI signal that the monitor understands, which should have allowed the monitor to work with all OS/driver versions. Anyway, it got my minipc displaying on my large monitor again, so I'm mostly satisfied.

Product only showed my extra monitors for a few seconds and then it won’t display anything from my MacBook. Unfortunately the return window is also short and now I can’t return either the open or unopened product that doesn’t work with my equipment! Disappointed in the outcome of the products and short return window. Would not recommend.

Der Adapter erfüllt seinen Zweck wie beschrieben. So lange man ihn nicht über 30fps bei 4K betreiben möchte, sollte alles funktionieren. Ich würde diesem Adapter jederzeit wieder den Vorzug gegenüber den Konkurrenzprodukten aus Fernost geben. Bei AmazonBasics verspreche ich mir eine höhere Sicherheit des Artikels (v.a. in Bezug auf Überhitzung) als bei den Marken, die dank gesponsorter Listings bei den Suchergebnissen ganz vorne landen und von denen man noch nie etwas gehört hat.

E' un prodotto semplice da utilizzare, ma allo stesso tempo molto funzionale e robusto. La struttura è solida e ben fatta, e il prezzo è decisamente competitivo rispetto ad altri adattatori sul mercato. Ho usato questo adattatore per collegare il mio portatile alla TV, e devo dire che la qualità delle immagini è stata ottima.
