I have worn this boot brand and style for several years and always happy with the fit. Most comfortable boot and easy to break in boot. The fit is always spot on

I've worn this pair of boots for several years now and find them to be very comfortable and also a good looking footwear.

Initial review -- just short of 1 monthI use these boots to walk an active blackmouth cur 2-3 miles per day over a combination of sidewalk and occasionally steep rolling grass.The sole is firm. These boots aren't sneaker comfy, but they feel good and solid under the feet. Well suited to a lengthy ramble.The uppers aren't as high as they seem in the photo but ankle support is nevertheless very good. These boots help keep me upright when the dog is pulling the leash on a hillside.Waterproofing checks out: feet stay dry in tall grass right after a rain. May end up getting warm in summer but probably not intolerable.Very handsome looking boots.At first crack I love these! I don't think I'd take them on trails as they're "too nice" and also not knobby in the tread at all. But for frequent recreational walking they're doing great so far.Will check back at 6 months and a year to see how they hold up.

I’ve used these Terrain boots now for almost a year. I’ve waited until now because I wanted to see how they’d hold up in all seasons before reviewing. These boots are simply fantastic. They are so comfortable, and the cushion has held up great. I’ve stepped in deep puddles in the rain, and they’ve kept my feet dry. I’ve gone snow tubing and my feet stayed warm. I’ve gone hiking in the woods, and they’ve kept my feet fresh and pain free. Truly one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own. I recommend them for anyone that needs boots.I’m pretty flat-footed and prefer a wide size when I can get it. Very happy that Ariat makes wide options at pretty much every size. I got a 12W and I haven’t had any issues in over 10 months.

Overall, a very nice looking well-made boot. A little tight even for a wide size, but I am in the process of stretching them for a better fit. The biggest problem is the lack of finger pull loops on the back of the boot which makes it more difficult to pull them on, especially when they are tight . I will have to go to the shoe and boot repair shop and have some added.

Love these boots all around so far except for one missing feature that would improve quality of life in some instances. For me, adding quick lace grommets to these boots would allow me to switch between steel toes, snake boots and chest waders much faster in the field at work. It doesn't seem like too much, but tying and untying double knots in the heat of a SC summer, while being swarmed by insects in a swamp can be slightly annoying. All other hiking boots I've owned have had the grommets that allow one to quickly take your boots on and off.Other than that nit-pick, the boots are great, waterproof as advertised (make sure you seal them) and very comfortable and roomy. My wide size also feels right on my big "hobbit feet".

I have owned these boots for almost two years. I use them for hiking and rock hounding, so they see abuse. I have had a few instances where I would have sworn I tore them open on a sharp rock, but they have had no significant damage. They are still going great, and they had a short break-in period. I would recommend waterproofing them every six months. They are not a waterproof boot, and your feet will still get wet when walking in water, but it does help and seems to help keep the stitching from wearing prematurely.The sole had been tough and shows minimal wear. The only complaint I have had is wishing they had a more aggressive sole. The tread can get slick in mud and snow. I believe if a person just wore them daily and didn't beat them up, they could be a good boot for many years. I know there are better boots out there for what I do, but for the money, these are excellent.

My husband bought these for walking and hiking and working outside when it’s wet. So far, they haven’t leaked and he says they are very comfortable. He does say they make his feet sweat, but I guess that is what happens with waterproof shoes

I bought these for my father who is 83. I wear them for my farm chores and riding my horse.My father falls unexpectedly. He was wearing good sneakers and orthotics.I asked him to wear these boots for the sturdier construction, the base of the shoe, and more ankle support. They already come with great orthotics, but he added his own custom orthotics which fit greatThey do seem to help, and he likes them, waterproof is a bonusI only wear Ariat leather boots and love their sole structure, and arch support, so comfortable and long lasting up to 10 years. My Adult son has a pair of these same boots, and they are 8 years old, for part time wear, and still solid, despite being well worn, not needing any repairs, and still water proof.I am in Equine territory but none of the local tack shops carried Double E width for my Dad. They quoted two months to order them. Amazon to the rescue. Two weeks, they arrived and were perfect. Thank you Amazon, and they were less expensive than the tack shops in canadian funds too.I give them 5 stars

This was a Christmas present for my hubby and he was chuffed with these boots he said they are extremely comfortable and very waterproof.
