The non-contact thermometer appears to working as advertised. The major problem I had with it was the reference to read the manual found on the body of the device as well as the stats sheet shipped with the product. However, there was no manual. It came in set to Centigrade, I use Fahrenheit. After much searching, I found the manual (see below). F1 changes it to Fahrenheit, but it seems that you have to scroll through all the settings before the change takes. I haven't attempted to change the other settings. The manual also explains why a "Lo" or "Hi" message is displayed. I work in healthcare and have ordered about 10 different brands of these so far. This one is the most accurate I have found (usually accurate to less than 1 degree of the oral reading). It is very simple to use and easy to read. It is also one of the least expensive models I have purchased, coming in at less than half of many of the models I have used.I would recommend this product.Note:Remember that taking a scan with an infrared thermometer is not for any purpose other than as a screening to see if there is a potential problem, any irregularities should be checked out further through other methods.

I knew I was going to be using this product in our office. I've had these thermometer guns pulled on me a few times going into places of business (mostly medical) and thought it would be useful and fun in our own business. I was expecting to casually set it up in start using it once we started having people who insisted on entering the office. In any case the timing of arrival couldn't have been better. Ordered it on the 23rd and it showed up on the 25th. Within an hour we needed it ourselves for a last minute virtual meeting with a doctor who wanted to know if there was a fever issue. Popped the batteries in and had a reading within seconds. No fever. Easy to use. Very cool product.

Very pleased with this. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and we have to take vitals on every resident, every shift. This is perfect. Ordered a 2nd one for a fellow nurse. And you can't beat the price. Also, super fast shipping.

The thermometer worked as I expected it to and it did come with 2aa batteries. I used it as soon as I got it and use it to check body and room temperature and it's been accurate so far

great for the price. shown for baby, but works well for rest of family. Some had problems with this item, I do not know why. If it fails I am not out a lot.
