Does the mirror reflect the image clear? Any distortion?

Answer Our mirror has no distortion at all. It looks lovely in the small guest bathroom. It is fairly heavy and well made with beveled glass. The only negative for us was that the mounting hardware was not evenly attached. We hired a handyman to do some projects and included hanging the mirror because measuring it for good centering took a little care. It worked and all is well. Would recommend.

Is the gold rim on this mirror bright or mellow? Looks on "antique-y" side of mellow to me (and I hope it is,) but I could use your thoughts.

i have this mirror with a silver frame. It also seems to have some gold hues to it. My mirror does have a slightly antique look to it. I love it..very attractive butI did order the silver rim.

How do you hang the mirror?

I had to use the special hanging brackets for lath and plaster walls. I used two and a level to try to get the mirror to hang straight. I actually had to take the hangers that came on the mirror off and reset them since they were not even. It took a lot of patience to get it to hang straight and a couple of friends.
