Lovely book spoilt by damage to cover on edges. A new book should be perfect in every way, this is happening too much when purchasing books from Amazon.

Read this after reading Mariah’s Autobiography where she talks about Marilyn a lot. Firstly There’s are a few (deliberate) negative reviews on her about this book which seems to be common now on amazon but please don’t let this put you off. The book is a great read from start to finish and really brings her back to life once more. Of course everyone has there own version of Marilyn’s story to tell (or anyone else’s for that mater), that’s what made her so fascinating, so I don’t think you can go wrong with this one, especially if you know very little about the Blond bombshell already. Great read

There are countless books written of Marilyn over the years, obviously we all know her life story by now.Charles ‘s book is the best out there, well researched and written with love!He is not trying to sensationalise Marilyn , he is a life long fan and wrote a beautifully written biography of her! Highly recommended!

I bought this book with high hopes that something new would be revealed. I was disappointed and for the money I paid and after waiting a few months to read i felt let down. Although a great read for fans.

Disappointing. I expected more from this author. If you've read other Monroe biographies, skip this one as it would appear all the details here have been lifted from other books and used here. There's nothing gripping, nothing new, certainly nothing that that really details just what made Marilyn an eternal icon. I wish I hadn't left it too late to request a refund.
