Works great and easy to use
Product was packaged securely when received. Instructions were straightforward and easy to understand. Product setup and use was easy, and it worked flawlessly. Charger output cord has quick-change plug with two options for connecting to battery: terminal clamps AND ring connectors. I bolted the section with ring connectors directly to my battery cables and left it in the engine bay for quickly connecting the charger when needed. Also includes handy wall mount and a cord hook for hanging under the hood. Absolutely thrilled with this product.

Best I've used
I've used all the ctek and other comparable with this one being the top. It reconditioned my mercedes sprinter van and my ducati xdiavel motorcycle. Fast efficiency and ease of use. I spent 2 months reading reviews before buying

Great powering the vehicle while servicing/testing; does a great job reconditioning the battery
This is the best trickle charge and battery conditioner I've used. The Optimate works better than the CTEK chargers for reconditioning and maintaining batteries. (Search youtube for the video "OptiMate 4 Versus the smartest charger in the world" to get more details on how the Optimate is better at battery reconditioning.)When the Optimate is plugged in, it resumes the previous setting it had when it was unplugged. So plug it into the wall and it's ready to go. I prefer this to the CTEK chargers, which have to be turned on and switched to the correct setting every time you plug them in.The reason to go for the Optimate 7 version is because it has the additional feature of powering the car's electrical system while you are working on the vehicle with the keyswitch on. This is extremely useful if you are tuning/reflashing ECUs or if you are doing electrical troubleshooting. You don't want your car battery to die during a reflash and brick the ECU.
