This filter does remove the chlorine
Even after letting a glass of filtered water sit on the counter overnight, the chlorine taste; smell is gone. That is the test for total chlorine removal, and this Pentex passed it. Water is clean & crisp , and the filter is a good value compared to other brands. There is a minimal reduction in water flow, which means the filter is doing it's job. If there is no change in flow, as with the last filter I ordered & returned, then nothing is getting done. Buy this filter; you won't regret it. I've been doing this undersink water filter thing for 30+ years. I know what's up.
