Not simple to use for first time.
Perfect amount of light blocking, but not so simple to use as a first timer. Not adhesive, kinda like Christmas cling window stickers.

Amazing!! Total privacy on a busy NYC street
The media could not be loaded. ย Ive bought three window films from amazon and had luck with them all. I moved into a new apartment in Brooklyn and was blessed with floor to ceiling windows but also lots of neighbors and a street view. I wanted to be able to get changed without having every bystander watching. I got a few films but none of them gave me complete privacy like this. My roommates checked for me and said they couldnt see anything. NYC approved!Worth noting I live near a garden and Iโve had quite a few birds and bees slam into my window. I think they believe this pattern is flowers (which makes me super sad!) and they are definitely intrigued by it. Not a concern at all but was definitely a surprise!

Who has two thumbs and turned their apartment into a cathedral?
Want to turn your bedroom into a technicolor dreamscape? Want to recreate the holy glow of stained glass in an old european cathedral? Want to put opaque covers over your windows that still let a little light in and hide most of your weirdness from your neighbors? If you answers are "yes" or "what?" to any of these questions then you should buy some of this. If not for your windows, then for the windshield of the car of someone you don't like!

Easy to use and sticks fairly well to windows
I purchased this privacy film to cover a small square window on my door to my office where too much sunlight comes in during the day. I like the stained glass appearance of the film, and it was pretty easy to cut out to the size that I needed. I was surprised, but actually a little glad, that it didn't have anything sticky or gluey on the back. You simply cut it and put it on the window and it seems to stay. It is, because of this, very easy to remove! The only issue regarding adhesion is that you want to make sure that you have a small razor knife or something to "fine tune" your fitted sheet to the window surface. Shortly after I had installed it, I noticed that it was coming undone, unfurling, at one top side. I was at first concerned that it wouldn't adhere reliably to the window, but then decided to use a razor to make the film a more perfect fit without edges coming over the wood frame of the window. After I did this, it has remained in place without issue. It provides enough cover to stop the glare of the sun, and provides a little more privacy as well. I would definitely recommend. It's extremely easy to cut to size and install, and adheres well to the window surface.

Great looking, tricky to install
This window film looks great on my classroom windows. It blocks the glare but not the light. It is tricky to install because the directions that came with it are inaccurate and don't work. The directions online are different, but also don't work. I finally reached out to the company, and they sent me directions to try that work well. So, if you buy this, slather the smooth side with soapy water--I used a sponge and dish detergent--before applying it to the window. I used a wooden ruler to smooth out the air bubbles, starting in the middle. It has been up for over a month now, so I'm hopeful it will last a long time.

Does not adhere easily
I followed the directions that came with the package. I cleaned the surface, applied the film, teased out the bubbles, and went over the surface with a blow dryer. The corners started to peel 15 minutes later.
