Would buy again and recommend - thus far...
This is providing so much light that its like day by the door. It offers lighting options, and I use the motion sensor setting. I found, especially in the winter months, that I leave the house in daylight and end up home after dark - it activates when needed and saves me from having to put lights on in daylight or use energy wasting dawn/dusk electric lights. I've installed four of these on my walkway to the house and at the door. The lights come on as I move along the way so I can walk safely. The way the wind blows out here it blows/moves obstacles onto the walkway. I'm so pleased with how these work that I've ordered smaller units (various brands) and have installed them all over the farm. By buildings, by gates, at doors, along walks and paths to out buildings where access to power are not reasonable options. They follow me lighting the way. The solar charge lasts more than long enough for my use here on the farm. If I have to go out in the wee hours of the night - I likely have bigger issues than solar light longevity. So far I'm absolutely happy with this purchase. I'll see how long they last and, if needed, how the company backs their warranty. I've only had these short while, but so far the seller has shown real interest and effort in seeing if I'm happy with the product.

better than the first.
Update: I received a replacement product. So far its working fine. Followed the directions that were enclosed and sent to me. I didn't even have to hold the button down for 7-10 seconds before I got a response from the device not like the first one I got. It's bright and lights up a large portion of my backyard. My only recommendation is that they change the settings button to a switch. It would take the guess work of having to figure out if its on the desired setting.I have left this darn thing in direct sunlight for the past week and every time I think it should be enough charge time and try to use it - nothing happens. i don't know if i got a faulty one or maybe this thing that is advertised as being "simple to use" is actually not that simple. Such a waste of money.

NOT WATERPROOF
NOT WATERPROOF - This light was great for about 3 months. I had it sitting on the edge of my covered front porch on the floor to light my walkway, steps and front door. I just never got around to mounting it and found it worked great where it was positioned. It was a nice white light (not bluish), very bright and the motion sensor worked great.... until It suddenly stopped working. When I picked it up to inspect what the problem might be, thinking my husband might have turned it off, I discovered trapped water swishing around the bulbs. The ad now states it has an 18 month warranty but I don't remember it stating that when I bought it last year so I threw it in the trash before checking the ad. My bad, my loss! I would not recommend this light.UPDATE: June 11, 2017Within 2 days of posting my original review, the seller Tekvilla contacted me (Sat June 3) and offered a no charge replacement without having to return the defective light (which I stated I trashed last year). I accepted the offer for a replacement and it arrived on Mon June 5. WOW! They really do stand behind the 18 month warranty. But it remains to be seen if this one will last longer than 3 months or if it will also fill with water. The seller immediately removed "waterproof" from the description so I don't know if that's good or bad.

Bright lights, does its job well!
Bought this to put in front of the house, over the driveway. As a female who is somewhat afraid of balancing myself on a ladder for too long, I felt this was easy to put up. I liked the piece of cardboard that they include to help you align everything! As for usage, it's been about 2 months and the light is shining bright, even through many rainy days. I approve! My only complaint is that...and maybe I'm just sensitive, because I haven't actually measured it, but I think the sensor range is further on one side than the other. I wish the range was a little wider. I actually have to be on the perimeter of the driveway for it to work. But it's okay. For this price, I went back and got another one for the other side of the house! Neighbors have already noticed how bright the light is and I'm pretty certain we'll be seeing more of these in the neighborhood. Go get it!

Can't go wrong here
This was a good deal on a Lighting Deal. I have wired automatic lighting around most of our property but there was one area that didn't have it. I got this hoping it would fit the bill--and it's perfect for that spot. It went up quick and easy (don't overlook the mounting template in the box). Once I got the programming figured out, it was all good (why do I always go to the instructions last?). I have it set to only light when motion is detected which means the battery shouldn't go dead before sunrise. The motion feature seems to work well and the LEDs are bright enough, so all good here.
