Appleways Simply Wholesome Oatmeal Bars, Chocolate Chip, 15 count

So they are okay, so far as snacky oatmeal bars go. While not as sugary as many supermarket brands, they have that kind of sweetness you often find in protein bars, which I personally don't find to be all that palatable. Texture is nice - they are soft, and crumble a bit but not tremendously. They aren't particularly chewy or sticky, so I like that part, very easy to eat. A kid will probably mash it up though, since it doesn't really keep its shape.I ordered these maybe two months ago, and I still have about half in my cabinet, so I'm not exactly overeager to chow down on them. This seems to be the opinion of the rest of the household - if something good comes along, it usually is gone within a week. If you want a good oatmeal bar, I recommend Bobos - the Coconut Almond Chocolate Chip. There's a lot there, but it really feels like a substantial bar. These, in contrast, are more like a sweet snack than something I'd eat as breakfast.

my son's fav snack, yes, he's almost 21 :) They were given these at USCG basic training and he still loves them to this day!

My son is a very picky eater with very limited food intake so, when I found out that his school served these bars and he liked them I had to buy a box for home. This is my third order and I have been very pleased with everything.

My daughter is so picky and was looking for something similar to what her school serves. I found these and she loves it!

My granddaughter loves them...we could never find them anywhere until Amazon!

My kindergartener specifically will ask for these every time. They are pretty healthy and great to take on the go. Just a little too expensive I think.
