**Editing review on 11/28/22 because I had no choice but to continue purchasing this size and came to say that if you have a problem with backing lifting just rub it together to the backing for a second and lift again. Works perfect.I have to buy these for my venous ulcers and I have never had such problem. When taking the backing off, the sticky part comes off with the backing therefore leaving the bandage with no adhesion. Total waste of money that I couldn’t afford to lose right now.

I was told this was what I needed for the wound care. I purchased them since I did not meet my insurance deductible. As it turns out I got the better deal after my co-pay it was still less expensive. The only down side was they did not offer the 5-1/16 x 5-1/16. I went with the 6 x 6 and also purchased the 4 x 4 for when the wound gets smaller. The adhesion was great yet it came off without incident. . I can shower and it stays dry.They are costly but, worth the money.

These defitely are the best, but if you're using them for a chronic condition like I am it's almost impossible to afford these on a continuous basis. I have tried alot of brands & these really are fantastic, enough padding to make them comfortable & more importantly they don't tear your skin when removing them. I have found that after you put it on you need to hold your hand over it for 30 seconds & the warmth helps the adhesive to stick. I have to use them on the backside area so sitting on them helps! The padding area has a sticky surface which will often leave a residue on the skin,, so I sometimes spread a very thin layer of ointment over the center.You won't be disappointed!

This product is GREAT. Husband is diabetic and bilateral below the knee amputation with really fragile skin. These bandages cover and gently protect and are easily removed without removing skin.The thing I didnt like...first order arrived instead of a box of 10 they sent a huge amazon box with 1 bandage...for $40! Not good...

For a larger pressure sore than the 5x5 in. Initially, I simply could not find anyone selling the 5in x 5in bandages so I ordered the 6.06in x 6.06in bandages. Covering a larger area, they are helping the wound to heal well. I am pleased. I do wish they were truly water resistant. The adhesive rolled up and died in the shower and they are quite expensive, but otherwise, these are great for larger pressure sores.

These are the best adhesive dressings on the market. My skin is very sensitive. I can’t use any tapes for a long period without my skin being torn upon removal. We went through many bandages before I found two that worked: Allevyn and Mepilix. I’ve used both but I’ve come to love Allevyn Life with the Quadrilobe shape. Mepilix’s will roll on me, fold, and other frustrations. Allevyn conform to any shape, they stay put, and they are comfortable. I can forget I’m wearing five bandages around my midsection! That’s NOT an easy job. They absorb exudate wonderfully, and can be left on up to seven days if your wound care regiment allows. The only problem is the expense. I really shop around to find the best prices. Sometimes a seller on Amazon has the lowest I can fine, other times I scour eBay. Our insurance used to cover these, but currently our new insurance does not. But I’m willing to pay the price for these because they work so well on skin that has been through the wringer. I would add that in my opinion if you are able you should always use skin prep before applying any type of adhesive product to the body (except for medical patches!! NEVER use any product on your skin but water before applying a prescription medicine patch!!!). Skin prep has also helped my skin and that combined with Allevyn makes a great bond!

Purchased these for my mom. The adhesive does not irritate the skin when used for multiple day. The bandage is breathable too. The integrated pad is really absorbent. These are a little pricey but worth it..

I can't believe how well this adheres, even to the side of my foot. I thought nothing would be better than Mepilex and I was wrong. However, this 6" size is too big and I end up cutting them in half, since I only need them for cushioning and not for an open wound; the 4" size is too small. I sure wish 5" was available.
