Quantum Throttle Baitcast Reel and Fishing Rod Combo

I ordered this and the product was well packaged, but a tensioning knob on the reel wasmissing. I ordered again....planning to ship the defective rod and reel back in the replacement's box.The replacement came in a box that looked like it had been dropped from 100'.........the rod tip wassticking out of the box and three guides were bent. the tip was completely gone and the drag knob was broken off on the reel.I was able to salvage the tensioner cap from the broken reel to make th original setup good. It kind of pisses me off that the vendor is going to have to eat this.......and the time it is taking me to deal with it.Nice rod and reel for a decent price.

I was so excited to get this baitcast combo. But I was absolutely furious and let down. First thing I noticed when I got box from ups driver was that the pole was sticking out of box broken missing 3inches of the 7’ pole. It just kept getting worse. I opened the box and 3 of the eyes was bent and broke. It was missing 2 eyes near the tip. THE HANDLE WAS COMPLETELY BENT INTO THE REEL. Paint was chipped. It was really unfortunate because it was such a beautiful combo. I couldn't even spin the handle to test out the baitcaster. What makes me mad is that THEY PACKAGED THE COMBO WITH IT THIS DAMAGED!!!! It’s not like they didn’t know. It was intentional for me to get their damaged product. Only thing customer service could do for me is refund me and have me drive 30min to return their package and give me a $5 promotional discount. Like what a joke, I’m wasting money just to send them a piece of crap that they sent me. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!! AMAZON is starting to become a joke. They’re not like what they used to be 3yrs ago when customer service was very important.- Quantum did an awesome job on the combo. I’ll give them that. Very nice quality combo. The rod was very nice and the grip was too. The reel was nice but could have better outer components. I do have their throttle 2 spin reel and it’s absolutely awesome. Very good quality. Too bad Amazon had to ruin it.

Nice rod and reel. I am new at baitcaster sand have figured out that the weight of a lure is very important on these combos, if it’s too heavy you will nest no matter what. Read product inf and flllow the weight recommendations and it is a dream bait caster.

The description says that this fishing rod comes with a reel...this did NOT come with a reel....what is my next step? I did not want a $100 fishing rod with no reel!!

The rod and reel combo blew me away and the price point was really good
