DukalCombine ABD Pads, Sterile, 8" x 10", 20/pk

These are a much better quality and price than what our insurance company was sending through a 3rd party company. Very happy with this product and company.

I haven't started using yet, but they seem good at first glance.

It was a new box for the same kind of pads I had before.

I liked these a lot. I have two open wounds on the tops of my feet. I see a wound clinic for and these are just what they use. Perfect!

We used these pads as a top layer to 3 layers of 4 x 4 woven gauze pads to keep the leaks from a draining wound controlled. These pads are not as absorbent as other brands we bought in the drug stores but a better value for the money. We covered the pads with 4 inch wide soft cloth tape to keep the dressings in place and they worked overnight well.

These were perfect for my recovery from my surgery. They are the perfect size. I do want to note though, the dimensions are 5” X 9”, that is the dimensions of they entire pad, not the dimensions of the absorbent layer. The absorbent part of the pad is about 1/2” from each end making the absorbent part approximately 8”. I had plenty, even using them two at a time. They were comfortable against my incisions and did not stick! I really like how that each pad is sterile. I have seen some brands are not individually wrapped, these ARE individually wrapped! If ever I need more, I will choose this brand! These are a great product at a great price!

The media could not be loaded.  Nice quality of pads for the amount of money spent. They're quite absorbent I'd say you get about 8 hours of absorbency depending upon the rate of leakage from wound. I found that we have to change this abdominal pad on the particular one that we have going at the time about every 8 hours. Hope this is helpful for someone shopping for ABD sterile dressing pads. These are 5 in by 9 in or 12.7 CM by 22.9 CM pads.

These are very good quality pads. I have been using abdominal pads for a year now for cellulitis on my lower legs and have compared several brands. This is not the best quality ones I have gotten, (they were the ones wound care gave me in the hospital), but these are fine. Maybe just a tad thinner. I can recommend these to anyone needed abdominal pads. They are individually sealed, sterile and do not stick to my leg no matter how much it drains and dries back up before the bandage is changed. I also recommend the  Dukal Conforming Stretch Gauze 12-Rolls 4-Inchx4.1yds, 3-Bag  , this is excellent in securing the pads in any area. This gauze wrap is low in cost and although it is a little thin, it works fine.
