Does anyone know what type of wood is used for this? Is it on the list of safe ono toxic woods?

I have a conure that will chew this to pieces .I am concerned about the painted parts..is this paint toxic?. Why would u paint wood?

Similar one on Amazon was said to have lead in the metal clips, does this one also?

Is the wood durable? My Senegal loves to chew.
