So is the sunscreen a clear liquid? Like it won't leave my face white?

It's not a "clear liquid," the lotion is white...however it doesn't leave too much white on your face. Compared with other zinc oxide sunscreens it rubs in very well.

Is this formula not water-resistant at all?

No, it's not water-resistant. I checked on the manufacturer site and they advertise that it can be washed off with water should there be any reactions. I hope this helps.

Is the sunscreen that comes out of the bottle transparent or white?

It's white, it does rub in leaving a hint of white.But my daughter is allergic to other sunseen so it a small price to pay. Works very well and goes far.

What's the expiration date?

This is a great question. I received a tube of this and it was so rancid smelling, I threw it out.
