Great light, bright, frees hands, keeps me safe from holes and makes me visible
I've purchased several headlamps, and this is the best I've found. I am elderly and when I walk after dark the sidewalk can be a very dangerous place. After a broken bone in my foot, I have become very careful. The light level can be adjusted. Charging the unit overnight it is ready for use again the next day. The charge lasts me for at least a week - that would depend on how far you are traveling. I like that my hands are free and the light is focused and bright. I recently went to a concert at an outdoor venue and was walking out afterward using my cane over an area that had various dangers for unsteady walkers - I passed a woman who was using her iPhone to light the way. She had her cane in one hand, and the phone in the other. The light wasn't nearly as bright as this one, and she was having to move at a snail's pace. She was jealous of my headlamp, because holding things in your hands makes you less able to react properly if you stumble. It's dangerous when you are old like me.

Love this bright little lamp that does not use LED lights.
I really love this lamp. I had purchased two headlamps for outdoor use but I noticed the mainly useful option is the single light. The LEDs are not bright outdoors as the light is not focused. This lamp by the Energizer has two light paths but the one on the right is the main one and very bright. Sometimes the lamps feels a little warm. The band is quite comfortable and holds in place on the head. I use the lamp daily mainly to pick up cat litter and wash litter boxes in the yard so when it is dark the lamp is necessary. I have just charged it once and it seems still holding up its brightness unlike my other headlamps made in China (one already has a non functional bright bulb). The lamp also looks like it is well built. I think this is a good lamp. But I need a little getting use to the controls in front.

Satisfactory for occasional use
This can hold a charge for intermittent use over a couple days and does not take a whole night to recharge. I would not use this for an extended camping trip or anything like that, but they are affordable enough to buy two so you can charge one while using the other for temporary emergency or household use. Light is bright enough to actually see. Lamp is not too heavy considering the price point. It is nice that the lamp can be detached from the headband so the band can be washed but the lamp could be more secure. It is tricky to get the headband tight enough to be secure but not so tight that it is unbearably uncomfortable, but the band is not onerous to adjust if you do so before putting it on. I needed these for tasks that required gloves so I had to remember to turn the lamp on before putting on gloves which was a minor inconvenience. A lamp with buttons that protrude more would be easier to use in that respect, but perhaps harder to find now that everything electronic seems to have buttons flush with the surface they are on.

Be lost without it.
I use the Energizer Pro for work. It worked right out of the box. I wanted the rechargeable type, and so far it has performed perfectly. It has a few different lighting options, but I only use high beam. Throws off more than enough light. I keep one in the van and one at home. Excellent bit of kit and I'd be lost without it.

Great rechargeable headlamp. Good quality
I love these headlamps and love the fact that they are rechargeable. However, it would be nice if the battery could be replaced after it dies from too many charge cycles. But other than that, no complaints. I like the fact that it’s got red lights as well as white lights so you can use the red lights in the dark. Overall, these are headlamps, and I own several of them

Great Value!
Tough to beat the price on these for what you get. Bright, light solid beams with simple intuitive controls. Lightweight and easily adjustable, these headlamps are quite comfortable. Very pleased!

Decent unit but with a few caveats.
Quality seems fine, although the elastic band looks like the elasticity will not last very long, but we shall see if my instincts about that will play out. The two more concrete con issues I have are: 1) the light beam spread is not even. It has a bright spot in the middle and while that is good for close work, using it to light up larger areas that you are not very close too -- for example, I wanted to use it to see in an unlit storage locker that was about 10 feet wide and 10 ft deep. A unit that had a wider light dispersion angle would have been more helpful than this unit. And 2) the choice of a charging port uses is a BIG negative for me. Instead of using a standard USB-C type connector, they use one of those non-standard, slightly smaller ones -- they LOOK like USB-C, but they aren't and only they will charge this unit. Thing is, you can get your hands on the ubiquitous USB-Cs almost anywhere, not nearly so much the odd size they use on this unit. Nearly EVERY cell phone today uses the USB-c connectors, so should you need to charge this thing and you don't have the cable that came with it, you're screwed. If they had gone with a standard USB cable, you'd be able to charge this almost anywhere. Seems like a big mistake by the manufacturer because the cost difference would by in fractions of a penny. And not for nothin, they could have eliminated the green LED altogether which, to be honest, I think is pretty much useless, at least I can't thing of any time I would need to use it. I'd swap that out for a better connecter for the charging port. So word to the wise -- keep that original cable with the unit all the time. I use a cable tie (reusable) and attach the cable with that to the head strap so I always have it handy. Other than that, the unit itself seems pretty sturdy. No idea yet how long the battery charge lasts before it needs to be recharged (and hopefully when that happens, you haven't lost that stupid charging cable). 🥵

This is my favourite headlamp so far. I love that it is rechargeable, very bright, and can be focused and dimmed as needed. It does last less long than a battery powered headlamp, and tends to die suddenly without much notice, so beware of relying on it, say on a night hike. For that reason I own two, for when I need a backup light. when the first one dies. They would not be suitable for a multi-day trip away from a usb power supply. Each recharge would give maybe 2-3 hrs constant use. I like them so much I have bought them for presents for my family. I love also that I’m not generating waste batteries - better for the environment. I use them ~daily around the house doing jobs in low light, and as a bike light as the strong beam gives good illumination for at least ~15m, enough to ride at speed.
