These are excellent walking shoes. I walk 1.5 miles everyday down a gravel road and have no discomfort from the stones on the road. They are well cushioned inside and have a roomy toes box so my feet aren't squeezed together. The only negative side of these shoes is the laces which will often loosen up when walking.. Let's go back to old fashioned laces that stay tied up. Yamer
