Perfect Fit
Used this hitch now for awhile and it has been fantastic. Fits well into the receiver with very little wiggle room and the adjustable pins for the height have no slop. The construction of it is rock solid and versatile. I like it so much that I make sure to remove and stow it in the cab of the truck so no one tries to steal it.

ie=UTF8&psc=1 2-it's a 2-1/2" shank which means i don't need the stupid spacer sleeve in my f350 and it's rated for ...
Update- 3 months of use. This thing rusts on the pin holes... not a BIG deal but its pretty ugly. I gotta get some paint to fix it because its a nice hitch.Inital review-I basically tow daily for a living, i have roughly 40 trailers that i pull, usually 1 a day sometimes up to 10 in a day. So when i saw this hitch with the matching/removable pentle insert i had to have it. I can now have ONE hitch with the two different attachments that i can adjust as needed and almost never have to remove the hitch from my truck.Pros-1- Curt sells a separate pentle hitch insert so i ONLY need one hitch for both 2" balls, 2-5/16" balls, AND pentle hitches! So i don't have to have two complete and separate hitches in my truck -https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CPFD0HS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=12-it's a 2-1/2" shank which means i don't need the stupid spacer sleeve in my f350 and it's rated for more weight.3- it's adjustable without a key. i have a 'hide-a-hitch' and a anderson manf adjustable hitch both in 2" and prefer this curt.4- priced from amazon it was $130 cheaper than i could source locally from a specialty towing/trailer shop for the exact same hitch.cons-It does have some slop to it but thats the nature of the adjustable design. As long as your trailer is loaded correctly you shouldn't hardly ever hear/feel it in a truck. CURT did address the issue by designing the "anti-rattle" screw in the back which isn't easily tightened with the fixed supplied hex wrench.I really like that i don't need a key to adjust the hitch but that also leaves it able to be stolen. I know they do sell lockable pins for this hitch and i might have to pick that up.I doesn't come with a hitch lock, nothing major anyone who tows probably already has one or wants to buy a new one. Just something to take into consideration when buying it- maybe look on amazon when your buying this and find a nice one that you want.All in all i love the hitch, i'll probably end up buying at least 4 more for my other work trucks.

Very good product
This has allowed me to be able to pull anything from a small trailer up to a big equipment hauler with no worries. I am able to adjust this hitch to fit different hitch hight and not worry about strength issues that I have had with others.

Very rugged Curt 45902 hitch and ball!
Pro's:- I really like the weight rating and adjustable height for this hitch. Helped my buddy out by towing a full-sized backhoe with trailer from a rental place, using my F-350. Got it there and back with no trouble.- My wife and I use it to haul our 31' travel trailer with my truck. Adjustable height is again a plus here.- I leave the receiver in all the time, but remove the ball mount, in case I get rear-ended by some distracted nut-behind-the-wheel types (since there are a-plenty of them). This will take the brunt of the impact and save damage to my truck's rear end.- Easy to install and uninstall.- Works well with locking pins.Con's:- It does rattle a lot even without the ball mount attached to the 2½" receiver.- Am already seeing some surface rust, but will just make sure to re-paint it periodically.Both of these issues are minor and do not detract from the main purpose why I bought it, which is hauling heavy loads.Overall I'm very happy with this ball mount and hitch. I'm pretty sure I came close to maxing out the weight limit of this unit with that backhoe/trailer unit. Sure did put my truck to the test, too. Definitely worth the price!

Very heavy duty adjustable two-ball hitch. Weighs a whopping 37 pounds. Fits a 2 1/2 inch Class 5 Commercial receiver
This is a VERY heavy-duty adjustable two ball hitch (2 inch & 2 5/16 inch). It weighs a whopping 37 pounds.Specs state up to 20,000 pounds GTW. It fits a 2 1/2 inch Class 5 Commercial receiver. It will NOT fit the smaller, more common, Class 4 (2 inch square) receiver. The ball component appear to be machined from a single piece of metal. The design includes an Allen set screw (that is a bit short in some settings) to reduce rattling of the ball assembly in the hitch - a longer Allen head screw (if needed) can be easily found at a well-supplied hardware store. The price for this hitch compares favorably with (is a good value) other heavy-duty Class 5 duty hitches.Comes with three pins with retaining clips, two to mount the ball assembly, and also a pin for the receiver mount. We bought the optional keyed locking pin set to limit theft opportunities for both the hitch shank and the ball assembly.Some general Class V info (edited from Reese Hitch site) - used for the largest trailers and accessories* A Class V hitch has a 2-1/2 inch square receiver opening and is frame mounted.* Typically Weight carrying are rated up to 12,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) w/1200 lbs. maximum trailer tongue weight (TW).* Typically Weight distributing are rated up to 17,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) w/1700 lbs. maximum trailer tongue weight (TW).The next lower rated receiver is a Class IV hitch usually has the more common 2 inch square receiver opening and must also be frame mounted.* Typically Weight carrying are rated up to 10,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) with a 1000 lbs maximum trailer tongue weight (TW).* Typically Weight distributing are rated up to 14,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) with a 1400 lbs. maximum trailer tongue weight (TW).
