Fit perfectly in our dryer
I literally was about to have a nervous breakdown when our dryer mysteriously stopped drying anything. We just replaced our washer, and our dryer is only a few years old. I really didn't want to spring for another several hundred dollars right before Christmas. My husband and I took the dryer apart and found our heating element had broken. I found this thing, for a GREAT price, and figured we'd try to fix it ourselves. My husband is very handy, but is not an appliance expert. It was easy enough to install, although our dryer is kind of a PITA to access the heating element (or maybe they all are??). It was about a 45 minute job total, disassembling the dryer, finding the problem, then installing the new one. It works perfectly. For reference, we have a Kenmore Oasis dryer, of course I didn't write the model down 😂

Excellent replacement heater coil
Whirlpool Duet F/L dryer did not heat. Tested continuity of heater coil - no continuity. Replacement coils were priced from $18 to $70. Bought the $18 coil from YKZ; part number matched and had good reviews. Element arrived in two days and was identical to original coil in appearance and quality. Easy install in 10 minutes. Works perfectly. Great product.

Coil looks good!
This is an exact replacement heating coil. It fits perfectly. It seems well made, just like the factory coil. We used the dryer with the new coil and it does seem to have a hotter temperature than the old one. Time will tell how this replacement coil will work in my Maytag MED6000. So far its a good replacement!

Dryer stopped heating... Again. But at this price, I'm not complaining
This will be my second purchase of this heating element. When my dryer suddenly stopped heating again, I knew exactly what it was. I replaced the OEM heating element back in February of 2024, so that replacement lasted a solid 2 years and 2 months. Honestly, for an $18 part, I can live with that. The first time I did this repair, I mentally prepared for a long, frustrating project. I grabbed a 6-pack, cleared my afternoon, and got ready for battle. Turns out... the job took about 30-45 minutes and I only made it through two beers. Mildly disappointing, if I'm being honest. Now that I know what I'm doing, I'm expecting this to be a one-beer repair at most. Which means I'll probably have to find a few extra things on the honey-do list to justify the rest of the 6-pack. For $18, it's hard to justify any other option. The install is straightforward, the cost is minimal, and you're back to dry clothes without paying a repair tech hundreds of dollars. If you're on the fence, just buy it. Worst case, you're out the cost of a pizza. Best case, you fix your dryer, feel like a hero, and have a few hundred bucks you didn't spend still in your wallet. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel like it should last longer than 2 years. The OEM part lasted 14 years... Whoever manufactures this replacement needs some lessons. Of course, then the price point would likely go up... meh, whatever, this isn't an economics lesson, just buy it.

Good quality at an affordable price.
I have an appliance repair business that I’ve operated for over 30 years. Over the years I’ve tried to use OEM parts as frequently as possible. But in the last few years, OEM parts have just risen to outrageous levels in price. So, to help out my customers, many of whom are single parents with limited income, I have tried to use and research as many aftermarket parts at possible. Some Chinese parts are simply worthless when new. Others, don’t fit properly or must be modified to fit. These heating elements are simply just as good as the OEM parts at a price anyone can afford. I use a lot of these elements and have Never had a problem.

Easy repair
Element went out in my older dryer, was happy to find this and have it replaced in 3 days. Such an easy repair. Got my dryer heating properly and drying in minutes. Replaced it months ago and so far the lifespan is still on going. Cheap and easy fix.
