I was searching for a vegan, unsweetened protein powder for smoothies or to add to hot cereals, recipies, with organic, high-quality & various ingredients and this is it! This has a great blend of protein, fruits & vegetables - even shitake mushroom extract! It has fiber & a little fat from organic flax seed & some energy boost from organic chia seeds. So many more goodies in this. I usually mix it in the blender with a plant milk and other fruits & vegetables, & when I add frozen ones, I make a tasty slushy! This is so versatile and top quality. Product suppose to be unflavored BUT it def has a flavor. Completely changed my coffee taste Delivery person left my gate open The gate they weren’t even suppose to open bc I have a dog. The gate has signs warning Not to open gate unless I permit it.

I don't normally leave reviews but there are none for this product so I felt like I had to. I discovered KOS protein about a year ago and fell in love with it. I'm dairy free and had trouble finding a plant-based protein that actually tasted good..until I found KOS. I love the chocolate and the blueberry muffin flavors but recently I started the KETO diet and didn't want to use up half my carbs on one protein shake...so I ordered this! Unflavored, unsweetened and only 2 NET CARBS from my favorite brand! I new the taste wouldn't be amazing because it's unflavored and unsweetened but honestly, the taste is not horrible by itself. When I first tried it I mixed with 10oz of almond breeze unsweetened almond/coconut milk. The texture was GREAT just like their other proteins (smooth, no lumps), BUT I do like a little flavor. So now I mix with a little keto skinny syrup (I use jordans skinny syrup- salted caramel flavor) and it tastes delicious. Definitely recommend!

As far as flavor goes, it's OK. It tastes like chickpea\pea for me, even when it's blended with fruits and veggies in a smoothie. Texture is still "chalkie" and "powderie", again when blended in a smoothie with Vitamix. However, the texture is MUCH better for me than Orgain. I returned Orgain right away because I could not stand the texture and it had added erythritol (which I missed before buying). Ingredients are great, no natural flavors is a plus in this version AND no added erythritol! I also tried using this blend in a no-bake protein bar recipe and it worked really well, much better use than a smoothie in my opinion. Generally speaking, I would recommend unflavored version, but for blending smoothies or post workaout protein drinks I will stick to whey based protein powders.

Bought the unflavored and it is awful. Has a taste and its not good. Also a very chalky feel to it. I mixed it with yogurt, berries and granola and all i could taste was the chalky taste. It didnt mix well either. Would not buy again.

I love what’s in it and what’s not. Lots of good stuff in it- It’s just chalky. I tried blending with banana, yogurt, etc. I added a heaping tablespoon of natural peanut butter and it helped a little (must be the fats). If you don’t mind chalkiness, this is a good choice for both sweet and savory use.

10/10 no taste, blends amazing, no texture problems when blending. Goes well blended with your coffee in the morning. Also goes well blended with KambuCha drinks. Highly recommend ditching your old protein for this one. I know I did. I was using Organic's plant based protein and the texture was so thick I could never get myself to actually drink the shake. However with this KOS unflavored Plant based protein I can drink my shake in less than 10 mins and doesnt leave nasty smell in my thermos.
